Kostas 1,468
Remember him?Reserve team midfielder Michael Woods has today (Thursday) joined Notts County on loan until 9 January. The 20-year-old, who made two first team substitute appearances when aged 16, has made three appearances off the bench for the reserves this season, having recovered from the injuries that hampered him during the two previous campaigns. Notts County, currently fourth from bottom in League One, are managed by Paul Ince and have former Chelsea player Jon Harley in their ranks. SourceMy guess is that this could turn into a transfer. LDN Blue 7,903
Think you might be right on the permanent transfer. Boy I remember when this guy was tipped to be the next Chelsea breakthrough English talent, it's a shame injury got in the way :\
EskWeston 696
It was very important for Woods to go out on loan, yes his chances of making it with Chelsea are virtually gone but we have to remember that 95% of these boys that play in our academy are going to move onto other clubs... LDN Blue 7,903
Yeah this was announced after Youth Cup Final.Good luck to the boy! It's a shame he suffered that long-term injury, he would've been a great prospect for us
