Of course it's nice to see our players doing well, but as you say, it would really help if we could get some of the back, especially for the upcoming match against Liverpool. I think we can do Reading and Pompey (their form ain't the best) without them but Liverpool will be a hare one.

Ghana 2 - 1 Nigeria FT

What an unbelievable game, that is arguably one of the most passionate affairs I have ever seen. Quality football from start to finish, the atmosphere was incredible and both teams were excellent. Essien wore his heart on his sleeve, scored the equaliser, took up the captain's armband and after Agogo scored, collapsed to the ground in delight. A Ghanaian hero, he may just have booked them a place in the final.

That was a great game i am happy we got obi back before essien because its essiens home country. This will be the only time it will be in ghana in his generation mikel is 21 he will get his chance.

Now we have obi back he will play the anchor role ballack and lampard can cause damage.

I'm really hoping Ivory Coast win the tornament, they were absolutely brilliant in that last 30 mins and they have not won it for ages (16 years) and they came so close last time when they lost on pens in the final to Egypt. For Chelsea i guess i'd like to see Drogs back but i would rather see ivory coast win the cup of nations. What a team. They always wanna score, when they get towards goal, they have 2 or 3 players waiting to tap it in. Awesome fitness, awesome strength, awesome commitment, awesome team.

Defending champions Egypt are through to the semi-finals after beating a spirited Angola 2-1. They are joined in the last four by Cameroon, for whom Stephane Mbia swooped for a winner in extra time to give them a 3-2 victory over Tunisia having already held the lead twice during the game.

Think Ivory Coast will do it though
