Wilson 358
Quite interesting....http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3134064/Carlo-Ancelotti-tells-John-Terry-Stop-being-a-warrior.html
BluesChick 1,260
interesting but what are their sources? just seems like they are putting that out there to put it out therebut honestly being older than the rest of y'all you do need more recovery time as you age especially if you don't take it when you should have in the first place. If JT doesn't take the time to recover from an injury he is going to need more time to recover from the little ones in the long run. I for one am glad to see the lads taking a break from some of the international games to concentrate on the club.
LDN Blue 7,903
Defender Terry almost died in the 2007 Carling Cup final when he swallowed his tongue while unconscious.Talk about being grim lol. But Terry will never stop putting his body on the line for club and country, we all saw that in his famous diving defensive header vs Andorra in the World Cup this year. That's who JT is, it's what makes JT.. JT.
Madmax 9,219
You can't fault JT's commitment to the cause and his passion for this club and his football. Once he steps on the grass, he's a true, natural-born leader and everyone watching and playing can see it. Carlo can say what he likes, we know our no 26 will shed sweat, blood and tears to see us across the finish line. Not for nothing is he Captain, Leader, Legend. zolayes 14,489
I think Carlo is merely saying JT will play less often when carrying injuries . Sounds sense to me.

BlueLion. 21,491
Ancelotti helped Maldini play till he was 176, he can do the same with Terry as long as he stops pushing himself too far.

- 25 - 167
I'd love to see JT last as long as Maldini. Cant see it happening though. Get the impression that the damage has already been done on Terry's body. Always looks like he's carrying an injury to me.

LDN Blue 7,903
'For John Terry, dying in the field would be glory... He likes playing. Some players, they whine but Terry, no. You'd need to kill him and maybe then he'd still play.'- Luiz Felipe Scolari

Wilson 358
What do you mean it looks like he's always carrying an injury? He's still playing amazing football. One of the best in shape defenders in the world. His movement, timing and challenges are perfect.
Styles 9,790
Bit late for that now. He has played through various injuries in the last few season which he should never have. He had a serious back problem a few years ago which severly redcued his mobility which to this day is still evident.

His movement, timing and challenges are perfect.I think Terry is the best stopper in the world, his defensive headers, leadership and as you say timing in the challenge are all crucial to us. Doesn't stop the fact that while he puts it all on the line, he picks up knocks and plays through the pain. You'd be hard pushed to see a game where he isnt limping for a portion of it.
