You are just a pussy if you are complaining of heat when it's just 25 degress! Pretty sure you will melt here :D

I am not diagreeing. I love Indian food, but prefer eating it in cooler conditions. I would definitely melt. Ginger people and heat don't mix... (Cue stingray's Ginger person meme/Gif :D)

I love Hot food. Lamb Vindaloo all the way. But its heat outside of the mouth that gets uncomfortable...

I do realise that Lamb Vindaloo is more of an "english-indian" dish, so you probably have no idea what i am talking about. lol. :)

@CHOULO19 No, 2nd best thing.. after this:

tabbouleh.jpg

:worship:

I feel sorry for you, man. I loved every bite. :D

I hate you

I'm actually not a big fan on Tabouleh

I love Tabbouleh! But so rarely find it in Shanghai!

You should learn to make it. It's very easy: http://norecipes.com/blog/tabouleh-recipe/#sthash.kw0Phy3A.dpbs

this is heaven! (as you guys are talking about Tabbouleh) except the raw kibbe (meat), I've eaten everything else!!!! especially the cabbage rolls!!!!!
then tomorrow I eat again! For now that's it: Tabbouleh, kafka, the meat rolls (both with cabbage and grape leaves), the thing on the right between the Tabbouleh and the cabbage roll that I can't say in English. It's the same filling the cabbage roll has, but instead it's in a green gourd or whatever and a Kibbeh! DELICIOUS! Specially the tabbouleh in syrian bread - that I got two!
add two giant syrian breads I eat for two, bb

You seem to eat more Lebanese food than I do, Barbara!

Tbh, I don't eat the raw meat either. Although it does looks slightly more appealing here:

BTW, you should try Markook bread. Soo much better than regular Arabic bread.

Well, had to Google it. :P Seems like it's a dish from the state of Goa here which is in south(somewhat close to mumbai) and i live up north. So , yeah not really sure about it but maybe it's known with some other name here in my region! You never know, I ll have to ask my mum about it! She's a pretty big food fanatic. :D

what can I say? I love your country's food! But the grape roll was too heavy and I couldn't eat the three. So I just ate one :P but the cabbage roll OMG!!!!! I'm calling my mother later today and blackmailing her! I'll only go there on Tuesday if she does it for me. Tons of it!!!!

I don't think I'd have a chance to find the Markook bread you're talking about, but I guess my mother is traveling to Israel again later this year and she might go to some arabic countries... so maybe she can bring some for me :P

as for the raw meat, it looks like something else, like the sauce that I put on the food :P

Speaking of food, I've had so much this weekend that I can't breathe anymore  Yesterday I had a HUGE dinner...thrice!

I'm stuffed right now. I ate the tabbouleh, the kibbeh, the cabbage rolls, the vegetable roll, the kafka, one of the grape rolls, one of the breads and 500ml of orange juice. I can barely breathe

BBQs, probably the only time people will happily eat something that has been burnt :mouthclosed:.

A good one has NO burn. Thats cooking. Make a bbq that grildls. Meat 'saignant', nicely marinated, smoked, ... Whatever. It is cooking when done right.

It is very wrong to say a bbq is about 'blackened food' :-)

I like my BBQ bloody... very raw in the inside. No medium rare, let alone well done... and I don't like electric grills, I like the ones in the backyard that you need charcoal :P but not charcoal'ed meat :P
