Several possibilities. Maybe he's feeling the pressure. Maybe he's tired, over 250 innings pitched, 90 more than his career high. Or, which i don't believe, the mets are just that good.

I think it is nerves. No way he would be tired. The guy is in sublime shape, he has to be one of the fittest players in the MLB.

The Mets still have time to do Metsy things...

I'm just hoping the winner of this series wins it all. Would be a great story either way for Baseball.

Possibly. But the cubs are the cubs. We'll get swept and feel the heartbreak again. It's frustrating, they always do this in big games. They forget what they did all season and the basics, not working the count, not hitting, poor fielding, not holding runners on base, pitching has been bad from the starters. Fuck my life. I hate sports.
