yea after we won back to back, i cant remember many opportunities where we have scored from corners or free kicks, we used to be so threating when it came to them but for a while now i just don't see us as a threat from them situations anymore..

Watching the game last night.....

Malouda and Joe Cole were pish at corners last night. Belletti on the other hand was hitting the danger zone everytime.

What pissed me off is seeing Riccy and Alex march for ward for the ball to hit the first man and get thumped up the pitch.

Bellettis corners are definitely an improvement, and I was sure Ballacks free kick was going in!

I agree with Tri-Blue's post last page.

Its a waste when the ball doesn't clear the first man, but Belletti is cracking at whipping them in. Problem is that Grant likes to alternate him and Paulo all the while.

Belletti has been a big improvement since he started here, his corners are so much more threatining then most of the corner takers in our squad, joe coles mostly end up hitting the defender barly getting into the 18yrd box which he needs to work on.. i say let belletti keep taking them for a while hes doing really well

Belletti had a great game on tuesday, maybe his best game for us so far so i think he'll play against the yidos. Still......can never be too sure.

Yeh our corners were way better Tues defo Belletti to take and defo not waste our time with short corners they dont work for us
