At first I wasn't sure about this album, after listening to Relapse I though Em had lost it. Recovery is something different, it seems he's found his old passion and you can hear it in his music. I give it an 8/10

But yea, that Cole tape is about a year old now but is serious. His first mixtape is dope as hell too. Hip-Hop is in good hands with cats like Lupe, J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Freddie Gibbs...

MMLP and SSLP will never be topped by anybody cause both had their own style, nobody will be able to copy that. Still, Recovery is his best album since MMLP which is respectable, it's quality but I'mma stick with the old Eminem. 8/10 for Recovery from me.

He's just not funny anymore. He's got boring with age, and maturity, and no matter how many times he says "I'm still Shady", Shady is dead and he is never coming back. Shady was a fully grown skinny Cartman that happened to live inside a brilliant lyracist. The album is disappointing, not because it is poor, but because of the memory of what he used to be that I can not get over.

Only just saw this thread.

I thought the album was a good return to form yeah its not the olden days Marshall Mathers lp style anymore but still alot better than some of the crap out there.. my favorite tracks would be Cold Wind Blows and Almost Famous, 8 and a half out of 10 from me.
