The vocalist's got an almost sub-continental sounding voice. Don't know if you've heard Pakistani rock bands, but he sounds like some of those.

This is my all-time favourite song, from a Pakistani band, Strings :

Can't say i particularly like Pakistani rock but i can see how you can say that sound a like. I really do rate Donald Carpenter (vocalist in the Acoustic videos) highly. One of the best voices i have ever heard, with Sahaj Ticotin from Ra, Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge, Clint Lowerly from Sevendust (as well as Witherspoon), J. Loren Wince from HURT, and that guy who won world idol. Clint and Donald are in the same band now though and are meant to be releaseing their full debut album (supposedly), the band is Eye Empire incase you might be interest. I think Donald is best when the song is heavier though, like the song below called 'Piano Song'.
