I would guess that because we signed him and loaned him back, his loan ended when he turned 18 and we could decide what to do with him. So technically they know where they stand.

I think if he joins us straightaway and remains at an English / Welsh club till he is 21, he will be considered homegrown. Right now ofcourse as he is under 21, he can be a part of the squad regardless of the fact that he isnt homegrown.

Seems like he will be a rental, I don't buy the 'option to buy' thing. I don't really see the point for Chelsea. He's been on trial as of yesterday, by the way.

It's in Dutch, but basically says that Vitesse were looking for someone to replace our former GK who just left for Alicante, and because of the 'strong relations' between our new owner Merab Jordania and Roman, this was a logical result.

Well, our current no. 1 is also a pretty young player, no real experenience edge there. It's a decent goalkeeper, but nothing really special. I don't believe Vitesse would take Delac as a no. 2. I believe he'll start after a few weeks.
