well overall the team looked more lively ..... but the players movement off the ball is very bad you can't see that a player can find team mates in good places specially in the final third of the pitch .....

sturridge is not super but at least he looks like he is trying really hard and that if there is someone on the pitch that can make something different it would be him ....

He has showed some great skill on the ball, the pitch isnt going to help us either but we should be able to put some decent balls in the box!!!

Obviously, when we can't even create one clear cut chance against Portsmouth. We depended on James making a suicidal mistake, which I'm very sure Van der Sar won't.
