I need some Help!

finding it hard to find any good no sugar recipes suitable for diabetics so that I can make my boyfriend a birthday cake that his mother can enjoy with us...........

if anyone knows of any good recipes or sites where i could find them, can you please let me know asap.....

Failing that feel free to post any of your favourite recipes that you think other members might like to try. I know I always like trying new things.

Thanks to anyone who can help with my little predicament.

Thanks for the suggestion though,

I'm trying to avoid using any "fake sugar replacement" products as my doctors have advised me to keep away from them, because of my own medical issues.....

If anyone has any other ideas I'd be most grateful :)

You should ask around in local specialist cake shops, ie those who cater for weddings etc.....I'm sure they would have a recipe or two. They could whip a simple one up for you or put you on to someone else who would specialise in that sort of thing.

Gluten free or Vegan recipes should be ok to use also. You could pick up recipe ideas out of Tesco.

I love cooking btw and am a whizz in the kitchen. I've been told I remind people of Gordon Ramsey, but thats more for my swearing than my cooking

Have you tried allrecipies.com? I've heard of an applesauce cake, but i can't remember if it's just low calorie or if it's low sugar too. I'll also ask at work if anyone has one we have a few folks on low sugar diets. It think they use splenda (sugar substitute) in some of their cooking tho. :(
