BlueLion. 21,491
Modric has broken his leg, which is a massive, massive blow for Tottenham. I saw the actual challenge and whilst it was a foul I couldn't see any serious injury at first, but it appears he has broken his fibula and will be out for 6-7 weeks before returning to training, so he'll be missing against us. mashinist 1
It a brain of Yids at present. Therefore it is possible to expect a failure from them.

Clevemayer 764
somebody been injured is never good news its a disgrace to say something like that.... not even cr 7/17/9 or what so ever should be injured.great footballer would have loved to see him in Chelsea... now i have to let him be on the bench in my fantasy football team Edited September 1, 2009 by Clevemayer
Chelseasgirl 1
Its pathetic whats been said from Croatia though. The federation president Markovic saying it was deliberate because of the unpcoming England match.
Becky 67
Never nice to see a player get injured, particularly one who brings so much to the Prem but am glad that he'll be missing against usThe Croatian FA's president is being ridiculous though, saying that he thinks there could be a conspiracy that we're trying to injure the Croatian players, with Modric's injury following Eduardo's horrific injury just before we played them last time (both of those injurys occurred when playing against Birmingham, do B'ham even have any English internationals in their team? And they are currently being managed by a Scot so I somehow doubt he's trying to help England out)
ZanSnake 1,211
Kranjcar been brought in as a replacement (or so it says on BBC), hope he can play a good role. I think Niko isn't a bad player.
Kez 2,727
The comments from the Croatian FA's president are absolutely ridiculous it was purely a coincidence that both players have suffered terrbile injuries. I don't see why England would feel the need to target one nationality.
