I don't think you are just referring to how Sir Montgomery Panesar :D . You clearly have an agenda against him. I wonder why?

Not really, I just find the name 'Monty' amusing :D. That and his fielding is so atrocious you can't criticise him for it, you can only laugh :D. He's a capable bowler though, good as a back up for Swann.

Fielding? Dude come on, how can you expect a guy having a south asian gene to be a good fielder? :D

For the rest of the world, if you have a bad fielder in your team, it's like 'Oh my god, he is so under par in the field. Dont think he will make the cut'

For us , if there is someone who just dives at the boundary and stops giving away 4 runs , we are like 'Wow, this guy should be knighted'

Hahaha... it was always funny watching guys like Inzamam fielding. And Kamran Akmal's wicketkeeping is brilliant :D

It is changing now, though. Many of the younger players are very good fielders.

The issue with Indian fielding over the years is more about the ground fielding and athleticism. As far as catching is concerned, we've always had safe catchers, be it close in or in the deep. The former is improving these days but it's still just 3 or 4 young ones who're world class in that aspect, the others need to be hidden away in low percentage positions so as to not be left exposed too much (third man, fine leg, sweeper-cover etc). With the rise of t20 and the availability of international level turfs and training facilities, diving around is a lot less off-putting.

Although the WC starts on 18th, it starts on 17th for India with the practice match with Pakistan. Doesn't matter the occasion, can't see loosing to Pakistan at all.

Pakistan just won. Magnificent game to watch, two quality innings from both sides in terms of batting. Kamran Akmal and Malik were never going to lose that at the end. Pakistan look good coming from a series win against the Aussies...

India's death bowling is pathetic. So bad that its not even funny. I sure hope we win the toss everytime and chase because if we are defending, i don't think Indian bowling can defend any score, be it past 200. <_<

BTW class innings by Shoaib Malik, he kept a very cool head which you don't really get in a pakistani shirt that often.

So England still don't know how to play spin? Well, nothing new then. :D

Sign of things to come for England this winter. This pitch is nothing compared to what MSD would prepare for England. They would be genuine turning dustbowls .
