The Guardian says Mancienne, the England Under-21 defender, will be offered a four-year contract but he could be loaned out if Chelsea were to end the summer with sufficient cover at the back. Ryan Bertrand has also signed a new deal, so we are still looking to bring these lads in. If Carvalho is staying then we maybe should consider a loan for Mancienne, but it HAS to be to a premiership club.
