I wouldn't have thought Mellis was anywhere near ready enough to be considered part of the squad. I'd say he needs a years loan with view to getting some chances next season. As for Hutchinson, in age he is at the time now where he should be getting chances, but obviously he had a big injury last year so that may have set him back.

He needs to train with the first team, may not necessarily get any starts but being in a squad will help him, with a Loan move next season at the age of 19.
