the wes 7,212
AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini is reportedly in talks with Chelsea over a possible backroom role at Stamford Bridge. The former Italy captain, who made a record 126 appearances for his country, has recently retired from playing and looks set to take his first step in coaching in England. Maldini would be reunited with Carlo Ancelotti if he does make the switch to west London where there is a vacancy for a defense coach after Steve Clarke's defection to West Ham. Maldini, 40, spent his entire career at the San Siro but could now be set for an emotional exit from the club he made his debut for in 1985.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...sea/8098673.stm i would love to see maldini at Chelsea...... Tomlewis7 0
Apparently they have had talks in the past 24 hours and the only remaining issue is uprooting his family to London. The talks were held in English because Maldini is supposed to be a fluent speaker of the language. I didnt know he could speak English...Its seems to make even more sense now because He can help translate any of Ancelotti's ideas that he cant get across with his broken English, and he's just a general LEGEND!
