damn, so wanted the US to finally break the steroid USSR WR

the US won by 50 plus metres but missed the WR by 0.1 second ( they did have to second fastest ever time)

the best track athlete in the word atm is Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, the best 400m womens hurdler by far ever (she has broken her own WR in it 6 times, and has the top 10 or so fastest times ever)

the 400m (no hurdles) is a race she almost never runs and yet her split in this relay race was the 2nd fastest 400m ever in history (only steroid freak East German Marita Koch was fin faster, another 0.1 second diifrence(

if they had 4 of her they would have beaten the WR by 2 or 3 seconds

the crazy thing is, 3 of their 4 runners are not even normal 400m runners as their main event, lol

Alexis Holmes is the only 400m specialist

every one of the Russians was banned for steroid use, but they still allow the record, which is just bollocks

if the Americans were roided up, they would break 3:10, hell maybe 3:05
