I love live music. It could be why both of my sons became musicians. Tomorrow night we will go see one of my favorites, Santana. My youngest son rebelled against my rock and his mother's pop. He is full on Jazz. Through him I am pretty amazed at all the young, really outstanding Jazz bands there are. In a few weeks we will go see Lettuce and Snarky Puppy.

Ha! I was posting live videos from the concert on FB and a student I taught when she was in 3rd grade (now late 20s) messaged me and said, Hey Mr Beeblebrox, I have tickets this Thursday for Counting Crows but I have to go out of town on business. I know you and Mrs Beeblebrox go to a lot of concerts, do you want the tickets? 
 

So I have tickets in my Ticketmaster account now for Counting Crows.

One of my first albums Santana Abraxas ! still have it on vinyl and stands the test of time- never saw them live though.

Concerts - cant remember them all - Emerson Lake and Palmer. Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Led Zep-Knebworth 79 with Todd Rungren, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes, Chas and Dave got bottled off stage 🤫 Johnny Cash, Rolling Stones twice, Oasis, -at Glastonbury so many- Hawkwind, Melanie, UB 40, Curtis Mayfield, Brass Construction, Aswad, Smiths, Joe Cocker, The Pogues, The Cure, New Order, Van Morrison, Kinks, Pretenders, Massive Attack, Faithless, Stone Roses. During punk/new wave years - Ian Dury, The Clash (four times), The Jam, Crass, UK Subs, Undertones, Skids, Damned, Reggae Sunsplash- Yellowman, Dennis Brown, King Tubby, Revolutionaries, Scratch Lee Perry -will add if can think of any more.

That is a great selection. I would have loved to see The Clash in their prime. That had to be great shows.

Carlos is 74 and still killing it on stage. I did not know until this morning when a coworker told me he performs with his wife on the main drum kit. Cindy Blackman was the drummer for Lenny Kravetz. She is 61 and killed it last night. If you have Facebook, this was from last night.

Counting Crows

Asked my son if he wanted to see them…. Yeah,,,thanks dad but no. Discovered Arnold Palmer Spiked 50/50 Sweet Tea/Lemonade tonight. It is tasty!

Two of my best friends growing up in Hawaii. All three of us in Florida at the same time went to see Lettuce.

The next day watched Lemon City Trio, Dust Bowl Revival and Snarky Puppy. Left at 10:30pm. Got home at 2:30am, and up for work at 6:00am.
