Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has denied interest in Newcastle United striker Michael Owen.

Scolari said on Setanta Sports News: “I have only spoken about Owen twice, once when he scored a goal for England when I was coaching Brazil and once when I was coaching Portugal and he scored again. After this some people want to put news in the newspapers, not me.”
