Ajax Showtime says Familia-Castillo will return to London at the end of the month, with his loan deal to expire. The 20 year-old was a permanent fixture for the Jong Ajax team this season, making 23 appearances and delivering six assists. The decision by Ajax is a surprise as Familia-Castillo was viewed as a long-term successor for in-demand senior left-back Nicolas Tagliafico. However, he will now return to Chelsea, though could quickly be on the move again with many clubs keen across Europe.
