The extremely talented PSV midfielder Ibrahim Afellay is reportedly being tracked by both London giants, Chelsea and Arsenal, with a view to a January move.

He is presently playing for the Dutch Champions where he has played 85 games, and is now a fixture in the team, but the ambitious 22 year-old is keen to move up a peg or two.

He made his debut for the Holland international team last year and he has already made eleven appearances.

His buy-out clause is only set at £11million and at that price Man City were also reported to be interested in his signature.

His club PSV were soundly beaten 3-0 by Atletico Madrid two weeks ago in the Champions League and it is thought he would be tempted to join a club that would have a chance of winning the prestigious competition one day, something PSV are very unlikely to do.
