No they have i read it in a magazine can't remember what player it was but he had a high number in another league and requested it in ther premiership and they said they dont allow high numbers

Correct. For one to have their squad number, they must first submit it to the FA. Unless there are no numbers available, one must have a number between 1 and 50, I think.
