If that's true, I'm sad to see Maka go, and that he can't finish his career with us.

He was a massive servant to Chelsea, and one of my favourite players. I wish him the best of luck at PSG.

Which roughly translates as:

Claude Makelele; Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain have agreed a deal for the midfielder this week, on a contract with the club from the capital. Interviews and photographs will be on in the afternoon.

Maka spoke to the press yesterday afternoon, before commenting in English for the Chelsea fans. He said that the move was 'good for [his] family' and he is 'very happy,' but that he says 'thank-you to all supporters of Chelsea' and that 'it was fun' to be at the club. Thanks Maka!

Chelsea have sounded out Paris Saint Germain midfielder Claude Makelele about a return to Stamford Bridge. France Football says Chelsea have asked 36 year-old Makelele about coming back to London at the end of the season.

Chelsea management concede they miss the leadership and influence of Makelele and would welcome him back with open arms.

Would like to see more ex-blues coaching the next generation of Chelsea players myself. Maka coaching the youngsters would be nice to see.
