Radamel Falcao

It's more likely we'll see Remy and either Costa or Falcao in the starting XI than Costa and Falcao. There's no way Mourinho is going to start turning Costa and/or Falcao into a wide striker all of a sudden, not when we have Remy who play in that position.

Neither Costa or Falcao have the technique and even bit of playmaking ability Etoo had. Diego and Falcao did play together in atletico, but they were both more out and out strikers than midfielders. We are already weak in midfield, no way will Jose take one more midfielder out for a striker and make us even weaker in middle unless we will be behind or in need for a goal.

Falcao has never been reliant on his pace.

As I said, any striker who has pace will use it, and as Falcao had it, it was a part of his game. You are right, but as I said Falcao is a finisher first then everything else later.

What I meant by "being reliant on his pace" is that if you took that part out of his game, you could notice he's really missing it in some situations. I noticed it while watching him for Manchester.

Well Im hoping that him coming will ignite a fire between both him and Costa, From all the old reports Ive gone thru they get on really well together. When Costa was running the channels either side of the penalty box poacher he gave Falcao alot of the asisrs of his 34 goals in 12/13 season and Falcao doing same for Costa. Thats a reason Turan would have been good for us. Them and Filipe were all good mates and MAYBE he might just bring the best out of Cuadrado.

I hope who marked "Torres 2.0" in this thread will sound silly and stupid at the end of the season.

they will

Surely all of us, even those who have posted about their doubts, hope that. Of course there is a certain amount of pride which means that we all like to see our opinions proved right but watching Chelsea do well outranks that pride. Doesn't it?

It's difficult not to have doubts given Radamel's recent output but if his form delivers results then our excitement will come and the doubts will vanish. So let's all wish him well and hope to see all doubts dispelled.

Before he joined that bunch of Manc muppets I really liked him and suppose I was pissed off that we didn't sign him.Not only last season but a couple before then. So I became anti El Tigre and was happy he didn't set the world on fire. But Ive been looking at him since from a pro Falcao viewpoint and taking everything into account this MIGHT just turn out to be an ingenious signing for us.

Hes with us now whether we all like it or not. I hope getting back with Costa ignites that fire in him and they help each other out.

Ive come round to thinking Mou might not be as daft as I think he is sometimes. crazy2_zpsljrmpt1z.gif
