Real have pulled off transfer more unlikely than this in the past. They have a habbit of getting who they want. Ronaldo will push for the transfer and Man Utd will take a view that the £80m+ they get for him will be a lot of money to build the squad with and just do the deal.

Man Utd will not be the same without him thats for sure! BUT the money they will get is a seriously large ammount enough to get some quality players in.

The Glazers would greedily eye the cash as a bit of a plug for their haemorraging debt.

The amount of space the Stepover Queen created last year for other players by beating defenders let alone the goals. Teams also had to double up on him as well.

Yup they have not looked no-where near as good without him in the team. But £80m is a lot to spend. Which would no doubt go towards a couple of big strikers. I can see Ronaldo leaving now definately. Classic Real Madrid this is.....

I've seen 50 million bounded about,but 80 million ? Blimey. To be honest I dont think that would put them off -the merchandise, shirts, and having 'the best player in the world' they'd see it as being money well spent

70m to 100m euros is the figures being splashed about. So who knows what the actual figure will be, but it will be a lot. Plus £200,000 to £300,000 (depending where you read it) per week AFTER tax!! Unreal.

Well theres near enough 1 Euro to the pound now, so it'll beat all transfer records.

The so called galactico era is long gone but the galactico philosophy is the cornerstone of what makes Real Madrid so special. It is a club that players yearn to feature for, despite the tactics and despite the controversy at management level. Real Madrid has history, it still seen as a special club and players will always want a shot at playing for it.
