Tomo 21,751
Our away form is patchy yet again, infact since that record winning run on the road under Scolari I can't recall us having a consistent run of wins on the road.Home form however is a different story, we picked up 17 wins out of 19 in the double season which bailed us out of our patchy away form, we need to be looking at atleast that number again in my opinion. If we can do that then we will get away with a patchy away record, look at United in 2011, 5 wins away all season but 18 wins from 19 at Old Trafford. We need to be looking at atleast 17 home wins, do that then 9 or 10 away wins should be enough. We will drop more point's away, the trick to getting the title back to Stamford Bridge will be the home form, in recent years The Champions have been unstoppable at home, last season City won 17 drew 1 lost 1 like us in the double season, them in 2012 won 18 drew 1, United the same in 2011.It shows just how vital home form is, we should try and win them all, but 5 point's is the absolute maximum we can afford to drop this season. zolayes 14,489
this is not the time to panic ,, THEY still have to come to the Bridge ,, and then it will be up to OUR fans to intimidate them andwhoever turns up to officiate..
Jase 43,479
Our home form, except in the 2011/12 season, has always been fine. We have always won at least 15-16 games at the Bridge for the past decade. On the road, however, that definitely needs sorting out because City are unlikely to drop many points at home. So, it might come down to who pick up more points away from home.

dee25 1,044
Completely agree with Tomo. People keep on talking about our inability to break down parked buses but that's doesn't give a full picture of the situation. We're fine when we play 'lesser' teams at home. We might struggle a bit but often times than not we find a way through. The issue is when we play these teams away. Like Tomo said, It's a problem that we've had even before Mourinho's return but last season our away record against mid/lower table teams completely fucked up our chances of winning the league. Stoke, Palace, Villa and Newcastle. Zero points in the away fixtures. 12 points in the home fixtures. Those away games is where we lost the league and in my opinion I haven't seen much evidence of that changing this season.

Only 3 in 12 away matches in all competitions and that's pretty poor by our usual high standards. We don't score enough goals either. Have scored more than 2 goals in one game in only 3 of the 12 games. When you can't keep clean sheets and don't score enough goals, it's a recipe for disaster. It feels as though we are playing with handbrakes on away from home.

Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Completely agree, there's an interesting stat that read "The team with the best home record has won the last 10 premier league titles." IIRC. Make Stamford Bridge a fortress again, we need to kill the likes of Sunderland and Newcastle when they set foot in SW London. Do that, and we can still win the title, maybe not run away with it but definitely win.
