Weckerz 3,781
Meh David Guetta The real music is in the sidestages/tents. The mainstage has become too commercial tbh

Ljpaddock 187
I'd love to go to this, maybe next year. Be an expensive ride. Having to make do with global gathering although the cream fields line up is epic. Just too far to travel for me.
manpe 10,861
Lol wtf, is this serious? Some guy alone on a big ass stage pretending to turn some knobs, jumping and waving his hands around? Is he even needed there? And the rest of the videos you posted also... Awful "live performances". Can't believe so many people go to those things. I saw David Guetta a couple of years ago when he was in Lebanon (well, I was dragged there by my cousins). Couldn't last more than an hour. It was like he had the same fucking song on repeat throughout.

I reckon there is some mindblowing technical stuff going on at the turntable but they all sound the same to me as well.
BleedsBlue 1,549
Their live performances is all about the visuals and atmosphere. I recently went to the Armin Van Buuren(my fav dj) concert here, and trust me it was INSANE!Making the tracks is the hard part. Performing it live doesn't take much skill but demands a lot of energy. Yep, jumping and moving your hands around is much more energy-dripping than say singing, dancing or playing an instrument for 2 hours straight. I don't believe for a second they do something meaningful behind their DJ tables, these "songs" are pre-recorded and the most creative thing this fella has to do is press "next", if even that. Its true that artists in other genres have it more difficult but these djs work many hours in the studio to make these kinds of tracks. I like this kind of music, well specifically trance and progressive house and so for me the events are quite fun.

Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Technasia etc were absolutely brilliant to watch. David Guetta used to be a brilliant underground techno DJ as well... Now it's all pressing play, fistpump and collect the money.
