Chelsea 1-1 Wigan

Heskey's last gasp winner was a killer blow. With an extra two points Manchester United might well have buckled under the pressure.

Points lost: 2

2) Wednesday, 19 March 2008

Tottenham 4-4 Chelsea

A bizarre game and another goal in the death, this time from Keane. To be fair this wouldn't have made the list, if Chelsea hadn't of had so many chances to take all three points.

Points lost: 2

3) Wednesday, 26 December 2007

Chelsea 4-4 Aston Villa

Boxing day always provides silly results and this one was a shocker. Ballack seemed to have snatched all three points with an 88th minute strike. One Gary Barry penalty later it was a devastating 4-4.

Points lost: 2

4) Sunday, 11 November 2007

Chelsea 1-1 Everton

Yet another 90th minute goal. Everton probably deserved their Cahill equaliser, but it could so easily have been three points.

Points lost: 2

5) Saturday, 15 September 2007

Chelsea 0-0 Blackburn

Jose's men weren't facing Blackburn in their good phase. Savage was still playing here! A missed opportunity and a nail in Mourinho's coffin.

Points lost: 2

6) Sunday, 02 September 2007

Aston Villa 2-0 Chelsea

All too easy for Villa. A result that would have been very different if Chelsea hadn't of still been on their summer holidays.

Points lost: 3

Total points lost: 13!

Why are we looking at the negatives? After all the managerial turmoil at the beginning of the season, we've come 2 points behind the leaders (and tbh, we'd probably be even on points had Manchester not scored that second goal and Chelsea just gave up) and we're still going strong.

For those 6 games we blame it on, Manchester probably have another 6 which they should have won easily which prevented them from running away with the league. No point with sour grapes.

Every team has games which they dont win but shouldve won. If you reverse it then you can also say we were lucky to beat Portsmouth and boro at home. we were lucky to get a draw at Anfield, we were 2-0 down against villa at home and we were also lucky to win at Birmingham and Sunderland away werent we? And dont forget kalou's winner at home to Newcastle, 3 yards offside? Luck is always evened out in a whole season and you always come where you deserve. At the end of the day Man utd are the champions because over the season, they just about deserved it. They got lucky in many games but lost 5. They didnt deserve to lose away to man city or west ham but they did.

well no but i guess they evened out their undeserved defeats to Bolton, West Ham and Man City away. Even against Blackburn, they thoroughly deserved to win really as much as that goal made me wanna commit suicide. I was more pissed of with the Boro game where they came back to get a 2-2 because boro were the better team in the game. Even Tuncay almost won it late.

Well......whats done is done even tho it sucks. Just wasnt meant to be. Next season WILL be different tho. Cant wait :D

Spot on. How many last-minute winners did we get last year? Its come back round and bit us hard on the ass this season, but that's footie.
