Rmpr 8,977
i used to live there when i was younger. its nice. like all places it has its rough areas, but its way more nice than bad compared to other areas.Alright, I live in Brazil, safety isnt something that worries me anymore. You learn to deal with it...I am more concern on other issues: is it too small? how are the people there (nice, old, students, etc)? is it easy to go to Chelsea games? good pubs? etc... It's a county with loads of cities and towns in it.Depends where you go. I find the people to be more civilised than up here. It consists more of middle class people.Very easy to get to Chelsea games. I could get a bus straight there or train. Took about half hour.In England there are pubs absolutely anywhere and everywhere.....Where about's in Surrey was you looking at?
Rmpr 8,977
Where about's in Surrey was you looking at?That looks great, really. I have low standards when it comes to city and what it offers, anything half great to you guys would be awesome for a Brazilian. I have a scolarship in Wooking (?), but if it isnt a good place i dont mind travelling 20min to get there or whatever...

DDA 9,941
It's bad enough living in England let alone having a debate about how depressing it really is.England is one big grey cloud of misery.I am working my way to Australia. That's where it's at!
Liquidator 5,176
I moan about England all the time, however I probably really don't know how lucky I am living here. Its safe, well-run, with a high standard of living. Of course the grass is greener on the other side but no country is perfect. There are certainly worse places that I could be living in. You prepare to being raped when they speak English to you, you literally start stretching your anus so it would hurt less. Estonian is from a totally different language group though.. it's a soft language with lots of vowels, English accent sounds raw but soft and every letter is pronounced even if it doesn't have to be (that's because we pronounce things exactly like we write them, some people find it hard pronouncing stuff different from the way they're written). If you've ever head Finns speaking, then that's how we sound.

dumps 284
I currently live in the south west of England, and during the summer a lot of polish guys come over to work on some of the farms picking peas etc. they only stay for the summer i think so i guess its a good break. fuck all to do where i live though! I also know an Estonian girl, I went to the christening of her child not too long ago.I used to live in a village very close to Woking called Byfleet. its all very nice around there, im sure you can find some places for less than £750 a month, depending on your standards. if you share it can be as little as 150 a month. you could get a place to yourself for around 200 a month if you dont mind sleeping next to your toilet.what was your scholarship for?
