Waterfall 893
How many clear chances has he got from passes since he arrived.Much more than 1. If Kalou's been performing like Torres has, EVERYONE would be calling for his head now.
Kieran. 6,317
Agreed with everyone about selling him in January. Maybe we'll find some other moronic club that will overpay for him. Though we'd be lucky to get 25m.But I really hope he comes good.Much more than 1.You mean 2? Your argument is sad. The man has not had the service he's needed. Give him a full 90 with Mata and Sturridge FFS.

termninja 5,290
I have no worry that there will be clubs interested. Malaga, Anzhi and Atletico will surely be interested in bringing him.
Melanicus 5,208
Sigh, with our luck he'll start scoring at an even better rate than at Liverpool as soon as he leaves.I'd like to imagine Abramovich if this happens...

Not my money, not my problem I guess.
Waterfall 893
Are you sure about that? You are absolutely delusional if you don't think Torres' had more than 1 chance to score here.

That would mean that we failed not he.

Not my money, not my problem I guess.I don't think our board is troubled with that as long as fair play rules come into action. It's still too early to think about his departure though, the transfer period just ended.Let's give him a few matches with Mata, Danny and Meireles and see will he improve. eldo 868
No he's not. Even when he's not scoring goals, Drogba is still a much better passer, bigger set piece threat and better defender. Torres for the last few months has been one of our worst strikers in recent memory. Some also said that Torres lost his pace when in fact Drogba did.The worst thing in recent memory are our poor wing options. Carefree Blue 7
Even with our poor service to Torres, 1 goal in about 20 games is not acceptable. On a few other occasions he in fact could have scored with the most notable being against Wigan and Fulham. However, I firmly believe with the likes of Mata and Meireles we could well see Torres scoring again.

Peace. 4,352
I bet Kalou is happy now, he doesn't get the stick anymore !
Carefree Blue 7
The service has been non existing...Agree. However, he could have scored more than one goal with the opportunities he has had and i believe that really would have raised his level of confidence. That would mean that we failed not he.Yep I agree to an extent, the only thing that concerns me is that if and when he plays for Spain (who provide some of the best service to strikers, with the likes of Xavi, Iniesta & Fabregas) he doesn't look much better. I mean fair enough in the WC he had a poor tournament I mean Rooney's was equally poor and look at him now. But I believe that the key to the problem is Torres with the Chelsea squad not really doing any favours, I mean most of the players seem to be trying to break in themselves so would rather get a goal themselves than pass it to Torres. But fingers crossed with Mata here and hopefully Torres focusing on football he should do well, I mean the main game he played well in was against Stoke and he was very unlucky that we weren't at our best and Stoke were being well...Stoke.
