I have my own theories when it comes to corruption and match fixing, but I usually keep them to myself since I don't have the patience to argue or debate with people who would call me paranoid.

I wouldn't say there is match fixing in the PL, but I believe there are certain instructions refs receive before the games which makes them at least give the majority of neutral decisions to a certain team. And yeah, United is definitely not on the same rule book as others teams. Same with the media, they avoid criticizing certain teams and avoid commentating on certain subjects.

Ryan Giggs' scandal? Barely known of across the world.

And that last PL game between QPR and City was just way too perfect to give City a title, keep QPR in the PL and advertise the PL across the world...

Good article.

Better close this thread otherwise Ferguson will remove us from the internet

I think the bloke who wrote the article probably has too much time on his hands, but he makes some salient points.

Refs do generally favour home teams because of the crowd pressure etc, but at the Theatre of Shit its taken to a different level with Fergie Time etc

What I notice is media bias as well -eg this morning on BBC radio 5 they rightly in the Sports News, headlined with Celtics win in Moscow. They then mentioned a good win for Manchester Utd at Cluj, the Rooney/Persie partnership, Utds defensive frailities, and a brief interview with Ferguson, When it came to the Champions of Europe it was mentioned right at the end of the bulletin........ ''Chelsea also won in Denmark''.
