YouNameIt 1,511
And why is that?why would we? we got enough offensive force. clearly our issues atm are in the defense. id rather have a rb who defends well than have decent crossings. Rubber bullets 1,183
I'm getting a little tied that some people think that Bran is 1st choice right back and no one has the authority to take it themselves. As if he is untouchable. Despite the fact that in the last few months he has become very reckless and thuggis and is getting beaten way too easily by anyone with a deecent amount ofpace. If we do sign Azpi, then I will happily want him t be straight into the starting 11 at RB. LDN Blue 7,903
We can say Azpi doesn't have a right to walk into the first team & that's true to an extent. However, how can we truly know how good he is if we don't try him in the first team? The reason Bosingwa was chosen over Ivanovic was because of his attacking threat, made life a night mare for the CB's & even Mikel. But modern football requires the emphasis of attacking full-backs to provide natural width.. Something Azpi will do. Granted we don't know much about him, so we shouldn't act as if he's the solution to that problem, but he is worth the gamble at 22.
