captainjt26 106
Im interested in becoming a true blue memberWhen looking at this for me to get 2 tickets seated together would i need to wait until the 2nd sale for members to get 2 extra seats. ?If i was a true blue member and my brother was a true blue member how do you go about purchasing 2 seats together at the first members sale when it says 1 per person ?How hard is it to get tickets when being a true blue member for european games , or big games like man utd , arsenal ?Is it easy if you call straight away as soon as the ticket office call centre opens when these games go on sale
BlueLion. 21,491
Nah, it's really easy. All you do is go to the online ticketing site, add your brother as a friend or family member, and then you can buy tickets on his behalf. That way you can buy two tickets as soon as they go on sale to members at '1 per member'. However if only one of you have a membership you have to wait until they go on general sale for members. Liquidator 5,176
How hard is it to get tickets when being a true blue member for european games , or big games like man utd , arsenal ?Group stage games for Europe are easy. For knock-out games and the big ones like Man U, Arsenal, Spurs etc. the game is sold to members on loyalty points so you will need to go to a few games to have a chance of getting a ticket. The club will announce that on Monday you need 45 points and then Tuesday it will go down to 38 etc. You get 5 points for Europe group games, 1 for Arsenal, Man U, Man City, Spurs, Liverpool and 3 for all other Premier League games. Domestic cups are worth 5 points but if tickets are not selling much for them or a Europe group stage game they often go up to 8 points. Is it easy if you call straight away as soon as the ticket office call centre opens when these games go on sale?I have never bought a ticket from the call centre. It is easier to get them online because 95% of tickets are sold online but if you call them you get to choose specific seats.

I'm going to presume it's the same process.4 -When buying online can you choose what section and seat you want a bit like browsing on viagogo or is it more like ticketmaster where you search the stand and get what youre given. - correct again. I wish we had a system like Coventry do where you can choose what seat you want. You're pre-allocated.5- Do you also have the choice of picking up tickets or do they get posted out to you and is it like ticketmaster do you receive them like 7 days before event or do they post them as soon as youve bought them. - they are all sent out unless you buy them 2/3 days before the event, you can only get them from the ticket office in that case......Thats all the ?s i can think of just now. My responses are in bold.
We Hate Scouse 10,326
Alex is correct about number 3. If you ring and say the other member is on your friends and family and state the name they'll process it for you.

BlueLion. 21,491
Yeah you get 5 points if you sign up before the end of July if you are an existing member; I imagine they'd do the same for new members.
captainjt26 106
Cheers for all the answers guys much appreciatedWhen its 1 per member , whats the max of family/friend's memberships can you add so you get seats together. For europe group stages do you need any loyalty points and if so how many ? , is it only Category AA* you need loyalty points for in the PLCategory AA* Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Category A** Aston Villa, Everton, Fulham , Newcastle and QPR Category B***All remaining matches
cyberkryten 1
I can't remember how many points but all the big AA games needed them and I don't think they got to the point of allowing you to buy extras. You can also purchase from Viagogo from season ticket holders (this is pretty much the only way you can really choose your seat!), so if I'm taking someone, I usually get the two for myself and my son and then try and find two nearby from the ones available on Viagogo. The group stage european games just went onsale - it wasn't staged by points.I did, early on in the season, take the risk of waiting to get four together (can't remember which match) and there was very little left, and no concessions for the kids.We ended the season with 68 points - got FA Cup semi-final tickets and luckily got two extras when the FA found another couple of hundred tickets down the back of the sofa. However, we didn't get FA Cup Final or Champions League tickets - those all went to season ticket holders. (Usually 2-3 weeks before the game)When you buy your tickets do you get them online through chelseafc or do you call the ticket office. captainjt26 106
Now that I am back in the UK me and my brother will most likely become members.I am in Glasgow but how quickly do they post tickets out and how quickly does it take to receive them ....im thinking about travel and stuff and if we would have the tickets in time just incase we plan to head down a night or 2 before the game.Another thing is if you pickup the tickets at the box office would my brother need to be there to collect his ticket ..(incase I go with a mate)One more thing a lot of folk on here ask to use other peoples membership is that because the tickets gets posted to the billing address ie ...the person who is buying the tickets as opposed to the address of the membership ? I don't think your brother would have to be there if you have all his details etc (but im not 100% sure.) When I let people use my memberships they either add them to the friends or family section of their own membership, or I give them the password to my own they change the details and have the tickets delivered to their home. Last season I got my Swansea league cup ticket 2 days before the match but most of the time they dispatch the tickets straight away and you have them within 3 days. If you don't get the tickets in time for the game (which has only happened to me once for a youth cup game and is extremely unlikely) then you can get them reprinted at Stamford Bridge on the day of the match providing you have proof of purchase and IDIf you bought the tickets and linked his membership then I don't think so. If it was a separate purchase then probably. I'm not 100% on that thoughYes if you link memberships you have the option to buy multiple tickets using their memberships as well. You can buy your own, person A and person B and all 3 tickets will be sent to your address

There is no way I will get them do I need to contact the ticket office and tell them this and ask for it to be reprinted OR do I just turn up at the ticket office and use this reprint thing (Is it really for folk who lose their tickets)Yeah I will need to look into that or maybe someone else on here might know more info about that just because I doubt we will both go to all games together sometimes I may giveup my membership for him and his mate and vice versa. middleoftheshed 388
If they don't arrive in the post just call the day before and tell them, they will put you on the duplicate list and you can pick them up on matchday. They charge £5 for duplicates if you have lost or damaged the ticket yourself but the post is out of your control so they won't charge. Are the tickets sent out to you via recorded delivery ....because if they do genuinely post them to me but I don't get them in time will they still waive the £5 fee ?
