It wasn't just Lampard who had a responsibility to get into the box, it was Gerrard too, and if they didn't get the in the box the whole game that tells me it was because of a lack of direction from McClaren more than anything else. As usual big game, key players out and we just dont have good enough players in reserve - doesnt bode well for England's future really.
