The Economy in my opinion looks like its only going to get worse. The Euro zone is an absolute mess and UK business's are really struggling to employ people in this current climate. Consumer spending is tight and people are tightening up their belts which effects business's like my mothers business (Restaurant). What could we do as a country to get the economy going again ?

Lol you have just put together random things that you heard in the news? What do you mean UK businesses are struggling to employ? A business will never struggle to find someone. Also restaurants dont make money because theres so many of them, they aint needed.

Restaurants actually do make money if they are in the the right location. The UK economy has actually been stagnant for a while now. The private sector ain't covering the jobs lost in the public sector.

So where has all the money/wealth gone then ? Has it evaporated ? No its been misappropriated by the bankers, and super rich.

Just looting on a massive scale that have made the rich richer,

We're not ''all in it together'' as the politicians would have us believe. Recessions dont affect the rich. Their answer is for the corporations like energy, petrol to raise their prices, and for taxes like VAT to raise, meaning the majority struggle.

The only answer is redistribution of wealth - theres a stat that hardly ever changes 96% of people own 14% of the wealth, leaving 4% owning 86% of everything.

People are getting wise to this hence the Occupy Wall Street which is now become Occupy USA, and is in the UK now as well

The thing is though, what is the answer ? Do you mean by redistribution of wealth do you mean it like in a socialist- communist model were nationalization takes place ?

Nothing will work, just like how the 50% tax rate did fuck all. People just increase their expenses and only a few of those people are caught for tax invasion.

i think the coalition are doing ok so far . i think the pace of cuts is spot on for the moment , but flexibility is obviously essential and investment must always be a option .
