That's the bummer of it all... he can't play in the centre with all our strikers. I hope he starts adapting to the left wing and puts in good performances.

From my point of view all youngsters bar Josh put in a 6/10 performance. Solid and probably reliable but not exciting or outstanding.

I'd rather see that, than see them play brilliantly and become blinded by overwhelming pressure, á la Kakuta.

i think all 4 of them were very good.

BERTRAND - the biggest compliment to him would be that we dint miss cole so much (atleast defensively). but that has to be accepted given that he would have nerves but even while attacking he was quite decent.

JOSH - just awesome.if not for sturridge he would have had a brilliant goal. his passing was superb. he ll be an even better lampard.

ROMEU - really good. though tried to do too much sometimes and was caught. his back pass would ve cost us but it was good to see him track back and rectify his mistake. passing, movement were way better than obi (movement definitely was).

Lukaku - i would like to call him DDC (didier drogba clone).. needs some time but was good overall. awesome fight to last 120 mins in his conditions. technique is a bit raw but dont forget that he is just 17 and he has as many years left. he ll be a legend. plus i think the talk of loaning him next season is rubbish. more time he has in drogba's presence the better.
