So I bought one of these beauties in the week, and gotta say, i'm loving it. Still trying to get used to everything and find my way around. Who else has one, or any mac?

And if you don't, what d'ya think of mac's and Apple in general?

Got one myself a few months ago, never going to buy a windows again. Absolutely love it, runs so smooth with everything i need, no jumps in any of the dj or producing software and the screen res is just amazing. Best buy I have ever made.

A few things really mate. My ex had one, and he was obsessed by it. And everytime I played with it, I loved it. I love the style of Apple and all that, and I wanted to try something new. Been something I've wanted for a little while now, and the job I have at the mo allows me to save alot of my wages. So I just went for it while I could. Really glad I did.

Just bought a Macbook Pro on eBay for $900 (560 pounds/620 euro). It's the mid-2010 model, but that doesn't bother me. It's in pristine condition. Very excited for it. What accessories do you guys recommend for it?

Yeah, i've heard the same. But i'm the sort who buys a load of crap just for an accessory. I don't even know why!

Looks Smart that Thing. But im not a Fan of Mac Books cus they are not compatible with most of the applications out there I beleive. Like Sopcast, TVU and others which we use to stream the games. Also, in terms of gaming it is not as good as some of ther other laptops.

Also, I got an iphone and iam happy with that.

There is just nothing that you can do on a MAC that you can not do on a PC. That's why I fail to understand why I should pay at least twice as much for a MAC, as I would for a PC with literaly the same components.

PC > Mac

MP3 > IPod

Blackberry > Iphone

Agreed.

I know a few graphics artists and music producers who really feel a difference in Mac compared to a PC. That's what they were designed for originally and that's why they'd pay more.

However for general use there's nothing wrong with a PC. Hell put a Linux on a PC and it'll feel like a Mac too.
