Blue In Green 86
Man, I hope this is the right place for this thread...someone vaporize this if it isn't.Baseball, basketball, oddly-shaped brown leather ball, redneck motorsports, etc. Couldn't find a thread for any of these, and there are a ton of Yanks kicking around here, so I felt this could be considered useful. You can even bring up MLS if you want...

termninja 5,290
Honestly, the only sport I care is football and football is everything in my life. The other sports all seems boring and pointless when I watch them.

Duppy Conqueror 1,543
i like American football and Basketball (have been a fan of the Rams and Lakers since `83) ice hockey is o.k. i root for the canadians there tho.....Rounders..or Baseball as you call it over there,is alright to play in a park with all the family but don`t really understand the interest in watching it for hours upon hours on t.v. each to their own though hey..have always found it weird that when a team in your land wins a national championship, they are handed the title World Champions. NFL,NBA,MLB..what`s that all about? p.s you just a Miles/ K.o.B fan Blue in Green or a fan of Jazz in general?i`m a huge Blues ,Jazz and Soul fan myself...none of the fluffy puppy stuff tho. e.g give me a Stax record over a Motown one anyday of the week and twice on tuesdays. I could go with Motown or Stax, it depends on the mood I'm in. Never could get into Northern Soul, though.Baseball is an acquired taste. I like it, but I also live in a baseball-mad part of the country. Yes, I find it strange we call our teams World Champions, but do you really think Panathinaikos could beat the Dallas Mavericks in a seven game series? The best American football, basketball and baseball players in the world play here, so it isn't too much of a stretch. I'm just glad we don't do it with the MLS champion.
