We caused them more problems when we attacked them and with a bit more class we woulda won the game. Spain lacked a real cutting edge. Football is about creating chances and scoring goals. Arsenal play pretty football and go nowhere with it and aint won anything for 6 years. We'll play better on weds and next sunday and hopefully get through. Kyle Walker, what a player, you know instead of getting someone like Van Der Wiel i don't see why we shouldn't get someone like Walker, i think he's brilliant defensively and offensively. And he's been brilliant for Villa. Sturridge played rather well i thought, he should of finished that header though, despite how fast rose put it in, i thought Sturridge could of got it. I thought our defence was rather well to be honest, we didn't get much problems at all, we handled very good long balls, and runs, read the game well, and there goal is something which is really hard to prevent and calls for no defensive errors. Though really impressed to be honest, but Rodwell should of started, Muamba maybe not since he played terrible in last game. Lets hope for some good play against Ukraine. McEachran and Wilshere were missed in the midfield there, but this is just one match, Henderson will grow into it. Mancienne was a big risk, didn't seem to work, perhaps Rodwell should of started. Cleverly was too quiet, Rose has played better games, the defence was probably the only great asset to the whole team. So yeah i do agree with you, midfield wasn't chosen correctly, Wilshere has been dropped, so he doesn't burn out fair enough, but Rodwell should of started and McEachran should definitely be chosen.
