When you got just two country alone like China and India, that almost make 1/3 of the population, then those stats seem kinda weird to me.

I was telling these dude, why some think Soccer is boring. And then they tell me all this crap.

I have giving them perfect example of why some Americans think Soccer is boring.

If you are stuck watching some poor game, that is as bad as a Italy vs New Zealand, then of course you are going to say is boring!

But if you have a local league in your country like EPL, the view would be totally different!

When a sport has a tournament called a 'World Cup' I think logical dictates that a majority of the Earth's countries do indeed have FOOTBALL as the number one sport in the country. Also, there is continental and also over 50+ football leagues in over 50+ countries which garner the numbers of viewers from a few thousand and a few billion. And to day a 'few billion' when there is about 6 Billion humans on Eartj, should point in one way.

How could someone not say football isn't the number one sport in the world? America has three main sports, four if you include Hockey as an American sport, and only one, if included, has ventured outside the country and influenced another league in more then one countrey. Baseball is only popular in both America and Japan (don't know about Canada), and Hockey, which imo orginated in Canada, is played largely throughout the world but doesn't have a significant appeal like football does with the Euro's and the WC.
