Yeah the thing I like mostly about Ribéry is that he always plays a big role in every game, hazard on the other hand disappears in games too much.... I can see the comparison tho that hazard can make a team go like Ribéry does... Altho the last game I saw Some interesting dribbles again from hazard, you could see the guys defending him nearly crapped their pants everytime he got the ball...

We all saw Chelsea performs well even without Eden, he must have seen it aswell, time to explode man.

I've heard the theory of KDB replacing Lampard in the future for Chelsea from quite a few ppl that know what they are takling about when it comes to football in general. Please don't give me the KDB fanboy stamp for this.... My own opinion tho is that his defensive qualities are too poor for that role...
-
well you agree to the fact that the best football still has to be brought, yet you disagree when I say something is still missing. proof again that alot of comments here are read with only half a brain.
-
The results are there no doubt, but you had to read my post better. It's the way some games were won involved alot of luck, in the lines of scoring a goal when we actually didn't deserve to get ahead, you might say i'm wrong, but when I read the pre match comments it's always complaining from almost everyone until a goal relieves the pressure and everyone's fine from then on. Depending on that luck is what cost us today...
-
Haven't seen the game today, but in general, I haven't been satisfied with most of our games so far, despite being in the top 3, guess we ran out of luck today. Don't like how we are playing in general these days, can't say tho what the problem is, I'm not a topclass manager like soms on these forums;)

Think Mou is the caring - "I don't care" kind of guy, I expect a lineup different from what I saw so far. Number 1 against number 2 of the league, there's more at stake for him, that's my thought.
-
No one can say he's been given any chance, except for the first game where he became motm. Remember the cup game was after a month of bench and stands. Not trying to be a too obvious Kdb fan, but I really like his style of play, and would have loved to see him do his thing here. No hard feelings tho, just send him out and I would have extra team to support.
-
Yeah the time for him to go on loan is, and that's always a big If, if/when he outperforms everyone in the U21. If he really does have the talent ppl so talk about, he would be one of the better players in the U19 this year, Next year coming in the U21 and then we'll see what he's really about.
-
He's 17, and has been a starter in the u19's the month before his injury. Think this was a please don't leave us move, first team football is still 5 years away for him.
-
haha that's funny he jumps so high and courtois only needs to put up his arms to get higher than hazard
-
Something tells me you haven't set foot on a pitch in your life, being the 4th in row for 1 position eats you alive. If ibrahimovic, think that's a good example to compare, would have been handled the same in his younger years he would have given ajax and juventus the middle finger. and believe me, he didn't have his current status back then. As i previously said, stop thinking of them as a number and start counting in the human factor of it all, it's not fifa you are playing. Also your argument about he wanted it handed on a plate is invalid, nothing about that loan to everton guaranteed him a weekly start, his goals there are doing that job for him. The decision made around the loan was a logical and humane one, i'd say well done by him and the board, everyone happy.
-
He's a winner and that's what it's all about. Some ppl apparantly can't handle it when he says screw every other team this year, there's only one team for me and that's everton this year. Put yourselves in his shoes, you just got the 4th place in the picking order, wich implies "sorry kid, we just don't have the trust in you." Next disappointment on the list is: None of those guys seem to be doing the job, yet you were rated below them still, been playing myself all my life, this would screw with my head as would it for any player. I wonder how many ppl wouldn't get annoyed and/or frustrated, I wonder how many would have the coolness to say yeah i want My team(because that's what everton is to him this year)to finish as high as possible behind chelsea of course. None! believe me, most would be disappointed not being given the trust and would move the world to finish as high as possible it might not be a realistic thing but that's what you would have on your mind, because that's what a winners mentality brings. Ppl need to learn those guys on the pitch aren't just numbers. It's the sickness of football these days.
-
looking forward to see him in his best form again, the form that brought shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit hazard has the ball in defenders heads
-
He's having quite a big mouth saying he'll own Kompany today, to show he can handle any defender he's playing against. I'm definitely going to watch this game.
-
the striker problem is big here, big in the lines of when we would have signed a top class striker and i'm just popping out names, RvP, Rooney, ibrahimovic and a few more when those guys would put out a mediocre performance for 3 games in a row, even they would be getting alot of criticism here, just like eto'o is getting now. Imagine the shit storm lukaku would be getting after 3 bad games. So just to be sure, the loan is a good idea, he started great, let him confirm not his potential but the class he already has and he'll start up front for chelsea next season with alot more credit than he has now, and that's if he's deemed ready Because to be honest "he hasn't scored 20 for chelsea" is a shit argument, no candidate for that spot up front these days has done that for chelsea. And one other thing, Drogba made it work, Drogba is unique, if he had a twin brother even that guy wouldn't be doing the same as he did here, when you get a good player for that spot and he's not performing, it doesn't necessairy mean the striker doesn't qualify, it might mean something else is being handled the wrong way. wake up, the best striker in the world might fail here, it's about trust in the guy, his mentality and the players surrounding him.

seen things in football that do deserve a red card, this isn't one of them
-
Drove home like a madman to watch the second half to find out no channel here in belgium was showing the game, telenet vs belgacom bullshit!!! What i'm mostly interested in is, did we play good looking football tonight?
-
apparantly the german site bild is saying he's being watched by several german teams, claiming there might be a january loan incoming. Also ajax would be interested in loaning him in january. I'd say he has until 2014 to prove himself, and then conclusions should be made.
-
I'm not going to start complaining like Kevin has to play etc etc, but as a manager you loose credibility imo when you bench your last game's MOTM and play against United the way we did and rate a player on the performance in a game you never intended to win. Look at the mentality city had playing ManU that's the football i want and love to see. The results are here in a way, but it can't be said that chelsea is playing good so far. The only thing we have to hope for is for everything to get better because I'm not liking what i see now.
-
It is necessary for hazard to be thinking about his defending part of the game however, as i see it, it shouldn't be his priority number 1 like it is now, it should be when there is an upcoming back on his side of the pitch, then it really is his job to fill in that gap. I wasn't sure what was going to become of hazard under mourinho, was hoping for greatness in CR7 proportions, so far the only thing hazard seemed to improve on is his defending part of the game. But it's mourinho, you never know what's happening behind the curtains there.

Spoken as a chelsea fan, he doesn't seem to be able to perform here well and i doubt a loan will change anything about that. can't really think of a reason why he doesn't seem to fit in, preseason he was the one standing out while many others failed to do that, maybe it's the rather high level of defending in the PL that he can't handle, he was even having trouble to get pass a 3rd division defender, but on the other hand so was Willian so that isn't really a reference. I just can't see what the problem is with Kevin. Then my opinion as a supporter of the belgian national team, he's one of the best we have in the attacking part, 50% of all qualifying goals went through him, if he's getting out of form that would be a bad thing there, he needs playing time. My conclusion: we have an overload of AM that can be played around on those three spots, even considering injuries, we can still have 2 of them out and fill those with one spare player on the bench. (and that probably would be kevin as it stands now) One option would be to loan him out for half a year to a mid table PL team(if we can find one after that awful performance on tuesday) and see what he can bring. Then, next season it can be decided what happens with him because this season he'll barely collect minutes on the pitch and if he does it probably won't be any good. He's just the kind of player that needs minutes and the coach's trust, the way i've seen him play in the national team is that he gets more confident every minute into the game, passes with a little more risk over time and then after 30 minutes he's starting to give those key passes that lead to goals(has done it in our first PL game the same way). He won't be showing his potential being out of form and when he's being thrown in for that last 10 minutes.
-
usually love seeing the bruyne do his thing, this first half i find him very disappointing.
-
anyone in belgium with an idea how i can watch the game? great starting 11 btw too bad it isn't tested against a stronger opponent, results or good performances here won't be taken seriously.
-
it's a shame we didn't manage to keep playing our own game until the end, we got that second goal in and dropped back, while imo we were still able to keep giving them a hard time. hazard was out of this world, unstoppable for their tiring defense towards the end of the game. shame for me tho that de bruyne wasn't in the selection, any known reason for that?
