  1. Morale wise this was a good win, but take it with a pinch of salt in terms of performance as Lopetegui made it so easy for us. I think he's a decent manager, but tonight I think he's shown that he has a long way to go before managing a bigger club. This was arguably Porto's most important match this season, why the hell would anyone switch to a formation with three at the back overnight and play with no CF? Knowing that we shit our pants when teams come at us and press high up the pitch? That's exactly what Porto do on a weekly basis and what they did in the first leg in Portugal, harass their opponents, but for some reason they switched it off tonight and played on our strenghts. This win means nothing if we draw Paris on Monday morning and then get battered by Leicester at night. Hopefully that's not the case and God wears his Chelsea shirt on Monday. Matic MOTM.
  2. Could not have happened to a nicer bunch lol. Billions invested and still can't get through ahead of fucking PSV Eindhoven haha. We are dog shite, but this United team make us look like world beaters.
  3. Please for the love of God just drop to Europa League. We're already a complete joke, don't make it worse by forcing us to watch our team getting raped by the likes of Barcelona or Bayern. Just do your best and try to win this 2nd hand competition otherwise we will be as attractive on the maket as Sunderland. Add to that the possibility of still having Mourinho in charge, too, with his free flowing football philosophy, a joy to watch for every fan and player......................
  4. We're going through a rough patch right now and you must be nuts to think this was not a decent result. I thought Mourinho prepared the game very well - I've watched Spurs many times this season and there were times when they looked spectacular, especially away at Arsenal, but yesterday they looked clueless. Chelsea gave them no chances, Zouma and Gazza had Kane in their pockets and the entire team looked very solid. If you would have asked me about this game a couple of weeks ago, I would have said there's no way we leave WHL w/o at least 2 goals conceded, but yesterday proved anyone that we're back on track. I know we still lack something in the final 3rd, but before the attackers start clicking once again, we must adress that leaky defence and things look good atm. And more of the false9 please, enjoyed the pressing high up the pitch and the movement in the final 3rd. Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Cesc, Oscar, they are all technically gifted players, they must play together from now on.
  5. Diego Costa must be benched. He is a liability these days.
  6. Zlatan still banging them for fun at 34. Cristiano is a better athlete, with at least 5 seasons at the biggest level under his belt, no doubt about it. Not on the wing, though.
  7. Great photos Petr. :blue scalf: Thanks for sharing these with us. Have fun tonight. :blue scalf: I also have a lot of photos with the team, back when they visited Bucharest in 2013 and Rafa was the manager. Mikel is a monster. He is listed at 188cm, but I think that's wrong. I'm listed at 189cm and I was looking like a dwarf next to him.
  8. Apparently one of AS Monaco's shareholders is due to meet Roman on Tuesday to buy Mourinho out of his contract (£35m).
  9. Once again the team has turned against him because of his outdated/small team tactics. It happened at Madrid and it happens at Chelsea once more. It wasn't the case at Internazionale because all those players were all aproaching/well in their 30s and didn't care about the tactics, nor the evolution as a player - they wanted to win something and they wanted it fast as they were approaching the end of their carreers. But it is different when you have young, technically gifted players that want to evolve and prove themselves. They want free flowing football and if you make them play the way Stoke does, eventually you will pay the price.
  10. Put Messi in the actual setup that Mourinho has implemented and he'd look like a poor man's Andros Townsend.
  11. If that's a wave of goodbye then I'm hoping Roman and Guardiola have entered in their 7th hour of conversation already.
  12. Watch last nights Eintracht vs Bayern and you'll see there's no difference between Eintracht and Chelsea. This guy has no clue of how to coach the attacking part of the game, I'm literally sick of this boring rubbish. Counter attacking football my ass, we're worse than Stoke City Rugby FC under Mourinho. No big club in this world plays this way. Not a single one worthy of being called a big club. Time for him has gone and the same way Falcao's career got to an end after that horrible injury, Mourinho is finished as a big coach after that spell at Real Madrid. Spain has ruined him, mentally he is finished, He should have the decency to resign or at least take the 30m and retire. He'll never be the same again, he's finished at the top level.
  13. Love the way those Manc bastards are all over the Chelsea/Mourinho articles, but when they fail to win they're nowhere to be found. They are so delusional, United are a shambles and so fucking boring to watch. They are dreadful, absolutely shite. And Memphis Depay. My God, I can remember the day he's signed - Mancs were acting like it's the 2nd coming of Jesus. THE most overrated player in World football right now. One trick pony with a lower IQ than Ramires. That awful league in Holland and those Sunday League defenders made him look like the next Ronaldinho when he's actually a poor man's Nzogbia. We're a fucking mess, but they're ten times worse than us. Stoke City with money.
  14. Mourinho was probably interested in his work-rate, track back record, tackling & ball interception percentage, goalkeeping abilities etc. hence he is at Bayern now, playing for a mananger that knows how to take his attacking players to the next level. Bet he'd have looked like a poor man's Stewart Downing had he joined Chelsea.
  15. Except for when he almost broke Bellerin's backbone lol.
  16. His miss could be a blessing in disguise in the long term. We're absolutely dreadful in the final third, diabolically shite. And it's not one or two matches, it's been 9-10 months and counting. Someone has to pay for that. Eden seems to have figured that out - it's either him at Chelsea with a manager capable to bring out the best of his attacking players, or him going elswhere to regain his form and enjoy the beautiful game.
  17. My thoughts exactly. He needs to change something and get rid of this siege mentality that he's implemented to the players and to the club as a whole. I feel that the players have lost interest in him, they're nowadays going into games like it's the Battle of Waterloo. Football is not war, let the players enjoy the beautiful game. What's the most frustrating thing with Jose Mourinho is the way he prepares his games. Regardless of what team he's managing and what players he has at his disposal, he's always looking to cancel out his opponents and play by their weakness, rather than imposing his own style. This is one thing I admire about Guardiola, no matter it is Real Madrid, Dortmund, Paris or some minor league minnows, he is always playing proactive football, by the strengths of his own players.
  18. What an absolute joke of a referee. The scouse bastards would have played two days in a row and still would not have scored against those Russian minnows if it wasn't for that red card. Southampton will rip them a new one at the week-end. They are diabolically shit.
  19. It's harsh to say that Barcelona crushed him when the truth was that Guardiola was missing his best players for that leg. Robben, Ribery, Alaba out, Lewandowski far from being 100% fit, Bernat & Rafinha against Messi & Dani Alves. Lots of new players against an already established Barcelona team. And he still managed to dominate Barcelona both home and away. Take a fully fit Bayern against a Barcelona missing, let's not say Messi, but Neymar, Suarez and Iniesta. Surely that would have been a walk in the park for Guardiola. Pep is the best thing that could happen to this club. Not only for footballing reasons, but he'd change the mentality of the whole institution that Chelsea is. We need to get rid of all this negativity bullshit and siege mentality, players have to enjoy the beautiful game, not go into games like it's a fecking war. I'd take my chances with this possession and risky football that Guardiola tries to implement wherever he goes, rather than this dull neverending 4231 and all the track back & work rate drama.
  20. 99 out of 100 managers would build their team around Hazard and let the little magician express himself on the pitch. Not with Mourinho though. Fecking track back and work rate, he is not a full back FFS. It's so hard to understand Mourinho these days. So much negativity around him, it's like every word he says turns into a war tune. Why can't he just shut the fuck up for at least a week and do the job he's being paid for.
