Yeahhhh. Texas summers are BRUTAL! The gulf coast(including part of the Texas coast) has hurricane season. But i'm pretty landlocked in Dallas. No monsoons or hurricanes me. Just blistering heat and tornadoes.

A little late to the weather posts. But here's what I'm dealing with this week.

You're currently watching the show? I've heard a deviates from the book (additional characters, storylines). Personally, I'd rather see the book come to life (read book, then watch show) Well, Ive been watching since the beginning so if they are different stories better to keep straight with the one for now. If they are the same then is still prefer not to be spoiled by the books. Plus I fear I might not even like them. I can have a hard time getting into fiction books. That being said though I borrowed the first book in Dean Koontz's Frankenstein series and it's pretty good so far. I'll also read anything from Brett Easton Ellis, Nick Hornby, or Mark Z Danielewski.

I love it! I've been forcing myself to put it down otherwise I would have read it out already. I already foresee myself buying the others I'm making myself wait until the end of the television series to read them.

Right. But Real is only used in La Liga right? Ive not seen other teams with that anywhere else. I guess it's just annoying that another league felt the need to use it when it doesn't mean anything in said league.....

Ok. First is it bad info give up on the match before halftime? Second am I the only one bothered by some of these team names? If the sport is mistakenly called soccer here, and the league has the word soccer in it, why can a club have "FC" in the name? My home team should be SC Dallas instead of FC Dallas. Why is there a football club in a soccer league? Also why is there Real Salt Lake? What does Real have to do with Utah? Can anyone even speak Spanish in mormonland? DC United I guess I'll let slide, but it's still questionable...... Why oh why must my ridiculous country call the sport soccer of all things?
