  1. not really... Rafa is my man in tennis, but poor thing isn't good looking, although sometimes he looks hot. Azpili and Tomas Berdych though would make me ditch my boyfriend
  2. I think Hazard for Schurrle or Schurrle being kept is all of the same, except André may offer something else in the counters as he's faster - or at least more objective. But I think it's indifferent. Although I wouldn't change, I wouldn't mind if José chose Mata over Oscar. West Brom at home is one of the matches I think suits Mata in the style we currently have. Mid-table team, at home, will probably sit deep with two lines of four defending, maybe parking the bus even. So it actually suits Mata and I wouldn't mind seeing him and would understand if Mou chose him, even though I think Oscar is still playing better than Mata - despite dropping from his form at the beginning of the season.
  3. I can't with my boys 'fangirling' over my boy, Rafa, all over their instagram I'm not going to repost the picture, but I'm the one fangirling here all over with Oscar and Willian fangirling Rafa in their comments. *************************************************************************************************************************************** I simply ignored Eto'o's two goals, went against the usual rules in the MOTM we do for Chelsea Brasil and just picked Willian the best in the pitch tonight. Normally there we stick with the goalscorers, especially if one guy netted two, but Willian was just superb. He's still adapting, recovering his match rhythm, but he's been immense for us in the last 2-3 matches, simply killing it. It doesn't matter the competition, the opposition, he's just working hard and showing the class and refined touch he has. You don't refuse signing a player like this when the player shows he wants to play for you and you can pay for him. One of the signings that makes the happiest in the last few years simply because he's always loved Chelsea. I don't care who plays by his side and in the other flank, right now for me our AM should be Willian + two.
  4. "Simply the best !!! Rafael Nadal !!! Congrats everyone for another important victory !!! Come on Chelsea" well, I'm officially a Oscar fangirl from now on. When fandoms collide and your idol is worshiped by the kid you love, you just let it go.
  5. excuse me while I fangirl over Rafa wearing a blue suit today and not a black one as I thought from the previous pic Also cute seeing him taking pics at the Bridge there are too many pics of him, but I'll stick with those two. Just become a Blue fan, Rafa.
  6. fandoms colliding I just posted this in my FB, Twitter and Tumblr. I'll love you forever for this. Expect tons of kittens in retribution
  7. was still catching up. Had a lot of work to do after the match ended and only now I could come here. But that was a great pass nonetheless and should be mentioned by everyone, not only the two of us Anyway, my analysis although it may be a bit off because again I was taking notes for a report to be posted immediately after the match. But amazing display by three men in particular for me: Willian (MOTM), Eto'o (5 shots on target, two goals, and impressive work-rate), Azpilicueta (absolutely a beast closing the doors at the left flank, our best player in the position, impeccable work-rate). Those three definitely were a step above the rest (with Willian a bit above the other two), and I guess we didn't have any bad player in the pitch today. The first half was a bit frustrating, but after the goal I felt like we were never looking back, and we never did. It was a very uneventful match except for the first 10 minutes - dominated by them, not us. We scored the goals, most importantly, our strikers continue to carry on their form, which is very important. I don't care if they aren't the best strikers in the world, if Lukaku scores more or if letting Sturridge go was a mistake. It finally feels like we have two (or three) strikers in form, getting into the net and winning us matches with their goals, but also contributing during the match, creating chances, linking up, working hard to press. Talking about pressing, we were fabulous on that again. The boys finally woke up to realize we need to continue to work hard to accomplish the results and while I'll need to rewatch that first half to diagnose what was the problem with our attack then, I'm happy with the attitude - that changed. I didn't feel like I did in the match against Newcastle in the first half (today and then). I felt today we were facing a much better defense, our players weren't inspired creatively, but I wasn't under the impression they didn't turn up or were doing fancy passes exchanges instead of shooting like on the weekend. If the weekend showed a bit of arrogance and a lot of laziness, today first half seemed to have been problematic because they weren't playing well or getting rid of their markers. I guess there was a bit of pressure from Mourinho, and I suppose they felt it a bit, but I guess at the end of the day they handled everything with class and quality. So crisis averted, media? (also, I had to use a stream bc ESPN has been sucking with Milan x Barça and Arsenal x Dortmund playing at the same time, but those people who commentated for Sky Sports are DISGUSTING! The way the guy reacted to our first goal, and how he kept mentioning it in a derogatory way in the second almost made me punch my laptop). I think it was positive all things considered, and Eden better be on time the rest of the week. I think being in the stands and getting a bit riled up may be useful for him. And Rafa Nadal was there, posing with my Samba Boys, so my life is complete
  8. was he who found Schurrle in the box in the first half, from the midfield? Then Schurrle was blocked and Eto'o got the rebound, but Hildebrand defended it. Do you remember that play? If it was Mikel, take bow! that was superb. If it was Ramires, than it's more of the same, hehehehehe
  9. de Buryne is going to have 15 minutes I hope he kills it!
  10. Willian has to play at all matches.
  11. dude, have no idea where/how you found this, but God bless you. Salvou minha vida
  12. yeah, Mourinho dodged the question... he was clearly uncomfortable talking about it and dodged the question when the guy asked if Eden didn't turn up. He didn't confirmed or denied, just repeated he missed an important training session. Who knows what happened?
  13. here is hoping we need him somehow during the match. I guess the players will be ready - whoever started would be honestly - because saved few exceptions like Luiz who has a dig in form - most players Saturday had attitude problems, that I'm sure were handled exhaustively by Mourinho. So I expect them to be alright in terms of attitude now and I think most of them have been in form in October, so we don't have to worry about them being in a bad shape.
  14. I get away with those all the time. I'm so happy nobody recollected the 'if we beat ManCity' promise thing
  15. I was about to post that as my preferred lineup. I hope that's what we'll play indeed edit: which has just been confirmed by a few posts before mine. So I'm a happy cookie. Now Kev in the bench with Hazard out of selection... bold move - and necessary one - by Mourinho. I think Hazard needs to start to feel some pressure if he wants to shine. It's November and he hasn't picked decent (as in consistent) form yet. That's nearly unacceptable. Mata hasn't either, but he didn't play as much as Hazard. So I guess Eden will have a lot to think.
  16. if this is true I'll marry Mourinho. Those are the same guys I said in one of my posts I thought should be dropped. All of them, with no exception and no addition on my part.
  17. I'm positive KDB won't even be in the selected players, let alone be in the lineup. Now let's stop giving Nour stick for that I agree with Jay about the objectivity thing, but in an article with nearly 1K words, let's ignore that one word I think Mourinho is dropping Mata and he may drop Hazard too, but I don't think he's dropping Oscar based in this comment in his press conference yesterday: "The game was easy to win, we had lots of space to play in the first half, but we were just playing as if the goal would arrive". Immediately after reading the first thing that came to mind was the exchange of passes between Hazard and Mata instead of one of them (mainly Mata who was unmarked at the edge of the box) shooting. Hazard has about as many chances to be dropped as Oscar, I'd go with Hazard being dropped, if one of them is dropped in addition to Mata (who I guess will definitely be dropped, although this is the kind of match I feel fits him the best), but it could also be Oscar ofc.
  18. @Dion, how is that I just found out that not only the girls are crazy about you, but even their brothers want you to have them? Your skin must sweat honey because brothers saying 'I wish Dion had my sister' is solid proof of everything I've already known. I'm jealous.
  19. we have time imo, as I see Terry still being on top for a couple of seasons. So enough time for Varane to mature
  20. I expect anything from Florentino Perez. Mourinho has been playing his cards right, saying he supports Madrid (said it just last week) when they play. Also there's a release clause, if Chelsea reaches it, there's nothing Madrid can do... we need to start thinking about a replacement for Terry (and some might even want to replace Luiz) in the defense. My fave name is and is always going to be Varane because he's young, quality and consequently we wouldn't be in a hurry in his adaptation. I can see Terry playing this season and next on top for us, but from two seasons from now who knows? He's injury prone, so I'll dream about Raphael
  21. Varane isn't the same player he was under Mourinho's management. I'd say we buy him
  22. always delightful watching Xabi play. Too much class!!!!! And quality, ofc.
