EXATCLY! Our school (which is ranked 5th ij NJ) had the lowest amount of kids pass AP Chem last year. That class is crazy! I was talking to Juniors about it and they all said that the jump from regular chem to ap is ridiculous. They asked (on the test i took today) such in depth questions for ALL the M/C questions, it was cray, i was luky i just finished. Honestly need to just pray i got a 3, no shot at a 4 like i was hopin. I think it would be better to offer a second year of Chemistry instead of AP. My last year at my school, I switched my honors chemistry kids (year 1) to the same book as AP, so that they could do the first 1/2 of the book and then in AP finish the darn thing! It is not strictly how they want it taught but it was the best way we could do it because our traditional kids did not need the in depth content. The kids from that honors class, rocked the AP exam last year. It was bittersweet for me to have them do that under another teacher! When we go back to the US, I won't teach AP again. Science AP exams are completely over the top and they ask such a narrow range of questions compared to the topic. Most teachers are at a loss as how to prepare their students because there is no way to predict what will be on it. The Chemistry exam in 2011, was completely awful, I was told by a colleague who has taught AP for 20 years that it was the worst she had seen! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

@Lumh, I will respectfully agree to disagree. It was not a movie I would normally choose to go see but it was my husband's turn to pick the movie. He and I have an agreement that we alternate who picks the movie, that way I don't end up always at action flicks and he is not always at romantic comedies or period dramas (chick flicks as he calls them). LOL Inglious Bastards definitely was not a chick flick.

I hated that movie! Brad Pitt should have been fined his entire salary for that hideously awful accent. I think Tarintino has fallen into the trap of believing he can do no wrong and unfortunately has not chosen his movie projects quite as carefully as he did in the past. Kill Bill should have stopped at volume 1, by the end it was definitely over kill.

It can be tough, making sure you don't stay up too late will help you get up on time in the morning. You can do it @Stingray… LOL I survived my two ADHD children in their younger years you will survive yours! Of course now I have two teenagers! So, I may not survive yet.

Well, 2 and 4. These are the jungle years, really. It is MORE than a full time job. Also very bad for your nerves. Best freaking birth control for a young adult is to make them watch multiple children between 0 and 4 years old for several days and see how much work it is! Children that age are the most selfish need beings, they are lovable (note I did not say loving) which is why they survive. Although I have met a few children that I am surprised have.
