  1. I'm going to put it out there. I think he has been shit for most of the season. Like today, like against Swansea, like in the CWC final. He goes through far too many long periods (or today about 99% of the time) where he is completely anonymous. Even in games like Everton where he glittered with praise for his goals and the club being bad mouth for not giving a 100 year contract, he went through a lot of the game completely over run and unable to get into it. Even with his goals, over half of them have been from the penalty spot, which generally does not reflect general play in midfield But I'm just sick of how he seems to be exempt from criticism by fan and pundits. He carelessly gives the ball away for the first goal, never gets called out on it and Turnbull gets the blame. Ramires gives the ball away for the penalty, both he and Turnbull immediately get stick by some. Fuck it even though Torres scored the equalizer that saved us from an embarrassing defeat, expect all of the posts on his thread to be how shit he is and ow dirty they feel that he scored. I cringed when Lampard made a hit and hope shot easily be saved by the keeper, and all the crowd were shout "Super, Super Frank" even when he was utter dog shit. Its as though of the potential record breaker most people are blinded that he not been good at what he is suppose to be doing in the double pivot. I'm sick of all the media circus bad mouthing Chlesea and demanding to give him a new contract when to me (apart from the goals) he has done noting in my eyes to get it. I keep hearing how his leadership and experience is so important to help guide the team. Don't make me laugh. QPR, CWC final, both Swansea games, Southampton at home, today. His experience was there for all of us to see and enjoy .
  2. Fucking Lampard. Yeah his experience really is been valuable.
  3. Is this on a stream, or will I have to listen on radio?
  4. But will he want that? Bearing in mind that after this loan he will have 2 years left on his contract. Making him go on loan for another 2 years puts us in an extremely vulnerable position of losing him and him agreeing to stay with Madrid permanently..
  5. How the hell are they going to play in the double pivot when they are wingers? Talk about square pegs in round holes.
  6. The sad thing is despite being my MOTM against Arsenal. He will be getting some flak for the teams 2nd half performance while Lampard gets off scot free despite he being one of the ones who went missing in that 2nd half.
  7. Ramires MOTM for me, only one who did not let his head drop in the second half.
  8. Too be honest I'm much more concerned about the Lampard-Ramires partnership. With past performances I fear they will be ripped apart.
  9. It seems that a lot of media sources claim we have given him a significant pay rise. By all means keep him for another year but possibly ripping up a chance to meet FFP regulations is just bloody absurd. Is it just a trick to get the fans to stop whining a little?
  10. My gripe would not be that he keeps the same wages, but he gets any increase. Because lets be honest, he has been decent this season, but not world class most of the time, and the whole contract situation that has been talked about pundits about how crazy it is to let him leave seem to mostly be his name and reputation carrying some of the complaints. Put it this way, if we decided to buy a left back from a club like Stoke or Fulham and he demanded wages of £150,000 a week. If he had given the exact same performances Cole has had this season, would anybody here be saying "you know what lets give him those demands because he deserves it"? The answer would probably that everyone would tell that player to go fuck himself. Again name and reputation seem to becoming into play.
  11. Oh Jesus Christ please tell me its just nonsense, what source did you get it from.
  12. If reports were true we were offering him a one year deal earlier but he wanted two. So I am surprised he now accepts just one year. Maybe we called his bluff?
  13. He hardly plays in midfield, most of his appearances (when he does get one) have come from defense whenever their fullbacks are injured. He still looks like his knees are made of jelly, he is much slower then 4 or 5 years ago and all of his performances I have seen have been at best average. Would be like trying to put flavour on a shit sundae with piss. Some people still hold on to this deluded belief that Essien has even a little bit of the "steel" he used to have. Much rather buy a DM that actually has knee caps.
  14. Luiz is a centre back, and today shows why. I just hope with Terry coming back Rafa has not decided that Luiz will only be seen as Midfielder.
  15. I will be going against the grain but Luiz was my MOTM. Magnificent performance and shows why he is a CB, not a DM.
  16. I will be going against the grain but Luiz was my MOTM. Magnificent performance and shows why he is a CB, not a DM.
  17. Terrible by Walters, giftts us the lead thankfully.
  18. I just hope with Bertrand its not Rafa trying to be too defensive which then becomes counter productive and makes us pinned in. Poor Marko, as soon as Moses goes away Bertrand comes straight in ahead of him.
  19. Does this really need another topic? Considering the whole AVB fiasco, I'm pretty sure he will not be renewing his contract and wants to get rid of his influence in the dressing room for the new manager to be able to stamp his authority better.
  20. Plus his girlfriend wants to leave England start a TV career over in America, so at least thats one big plus if Lampard leaves!
  21. Still think he should be dropped in the reserves for a month, his attitude for most of the season has been way to casual and really does need a boot up his arse to make him concentrate more. Luiz may lack concentration at times but he has never given a performance like Ivanovic did today.
  22. But the fact is whenever Mikel or Luiz make so much as a tiny mistake, it will be brought up all the time. Yet Ivanovic makes big glaring ones and some people don't take notice or seem to always excuse them. Like some others have said, double standards. But in my mind Ivanovic should be dropped, which has never happened this season even when Terry is fit.
