Same here zolayes , I always saw him as a better DM than the one we kept (will not mention the name ,some get upset ) . But here is to the future and quicker passing and an ability to read the game and briliant once again from Mourinho to fix this big problem we have struggled with for years that some of us saw .

Dont be in denial any longer look to the future and back Mourinho and our new DM . And forget players who are no longer relevant and dont be to upset at their demotion . Mourinho has acted to sort out our DM problem that was Mikel ,be positive and embrace reallity,it has happened ,well done Jose for proving me right and resigning this player,dont look backwards just hope we can offload Mikel as soon as possible ,Matic is the future ,use your limited posts on backing him now . Back our new sigining and our manager ,no need to feel sympathy for a reject.

Matic is ten times a better player than Mikel ,that is all you need to know . Well done Mourinho on sorting out our DM problem , we will counter much quicker now , Matic is a playmaker ,very positive and quick thinking ,he will link up and give our three AM's much quicker ball than Mikel , he reads the game much better ,a fantastic signing by Mourinho and a very obvious one given the limitations of Mikel. Some bad decisions have been made at the club in recent years when you think players like Matic were allowed to leave while the club persevered with Mikel,but thankfully Mourinho has now acted to put that right .

I see a Luiz / Ramires as well for Mourinho v Moyes . Feel more confident now?

There were people on here ( they know who they are) who were saying sack Mourinho and he was useless after the Arsenal game . . I got ridiculed for saying how special he is .

Even after their fav has been replaced ,they are still in denial . It is a terrible thing denial,let it go mate .

He may be 6ft 5"? but he is first and foremost a very good footballer,you are right he does all the above things and Mourinho has acted to sort out our biggest problem very quickly. And I mean this position is a bigger problem for us than our striker problem ,Matic for Mikel puts us in a strong position to win all trophies especially the league where we have fallen well short in recent times. Once again Mourinho has seen our biggest problem and acted where a series of managers failed. They do not call him special for nothing.

Blame what? As has been said before we and other clubs have managed to win trophies with players as awful as Mikel in the side ,if Matic comes Jose will have corrected the seven year mistake.

Nope . It will see the end of Mikel though ,this is one manager who does know what he is doing ,it is all so very obvious and Mourinho was never going to be mugged and ultimatley sacked because of the oh so slow and useless Mikel ,dont hold your breath about Benfica taking Mikel off our hands though ,Matic was a better player than Mikel when he was last here and it is costing us millions to correct our mistake. Lampard,Matic,Ramires and Luiz will be our options in the pivot. The Mikel deception is about to end .

Well you are miles away with your view that Ramires needs to be replaced , a definite "in my opinion" should be added because you must know Mourinho is a fan of Ramires and there is no way he can be replaced if we want to remain a side with balance going forward ,Matic ,Ramires ,Willian,Oscar,Hazard give us great balance. You say "needs to be replaced" as if it is only a matter of time when it is not . The player who will be replaced is the ultimate definition of a donkey Mikel and Matic will be doing just that.

I think all you who dont think Chelsea do not play entertaining football are listening a bit too much to jealous fans of other clubs and the bias press . We are playing great football and wait untill we get a centre forward in , I am being entertained and am fully behind Mourinho and the way he is developing us ,next season we will be the finished article ,Matic for Mikel would also be a massive step forward in the entertaining stakes,but lets not forget it is all about winning. Mourinho is developing a very entertaining team as we speak .

Nope a Donkey is someone who is very slow and not very good . Never heard of a fast donkey or seen one and certainly not one as fast as Ramires ,

And by definition thay are very slow ,so your definition is by definition very wrong . There is only one donkey at Chelsea and that is the one who Matic will replace if this is true.

Ramires - donkey ? Donkeys are by definition slow . What Ramires lacks in passing ability he more than makes up with other parts of his game ,there are different aspects to football it is not just all about passing and Ramires speed ,stamina and abilty to win you back possession is a massive positive ,him and Matic supporting our three AM's would be brilliant going forward but a massive kick in the teeth to the people at the club who decided to let Matic go and prefer Mikel . Jose will have got this spot on once again if Matic is coming because make no mistake he will be coming to replace the real donkey at Chelsea.

Gives us so much more than Mikel in that role ,we are told Mikel protects the back four,did Terry and Cahill need the mythical extra protection yesterday? I think they were comfortable and Luiz was a big reason why we dominated the game and did not sit back and invite pressure. Luiz must be in pole position to start v Utd I see an unchanged team and us taking the game to Utd ,not sitting back inviting pressure ,the sideways /backwards passes behind the full back can put you under more pressure than a misplaced long pass ,especially if the opposition know that is all you can do. Luiz just needs to mix it up a bit more ,dont have a clue how the stats have him as MOTM over Hazard though ,but he had a very good game.

We would be very foolish to let this fella leave again ,if he wants to stay for 12 years then why not? He is a perfect fit and match for Chelsea FC ,London and the Kings Rd . I would like the club to extend his contract before the season ends to the six years Moyes got at Old Trafford ,just to send a message. The Special one is Chelsea's chosen one and long may he reign.

Very strange this one .Mourinho did say Luiz was not a midfielder ,but that was when he first came back and reading between the lines I believe he was told that by people at the club,as you can see he is now playing there and in my opinion he is very good as our DM and I believe Jose has let performances dictate where he plays and not hearsay . In my opinion Emenalo wants his Nigerian mate to have that spot to himself and Mourinho has seen that Luiz is a much better D/M .

He has just turned 23 !!! The next ten years are going to be wonderful to watch,he aint going nowhwere for any price,he plays for Chelsea not Spurs or Arsenal ,he is already at one of the biggest clubs in the world . Chelsea are not selling club , we are a trophy winning club and Eden will win everything with us and become the best player in the world with Mourinho's guidance.
