I have missed the first half due to a lack of time watching. I have no information about the score nor the team performance, so i will watch the second half like it is the first.

+1 for joining! Welcome! I hope you enjoy the forum, the information is kind of handy here, with people identfying the bullshit to the truth.

Would love to see Sinclair to play, i think he has talent but just hasn't been given the opportunity. But the hcnace of him making it is low, higher now that Stoch has left but still really low. Would love to see someone like Lalkovich or Tore play, i think Mitrovic deserves at least a place on the bench. Chelsea Youth is one of the best in the country, and it is about time we show everyone the quality it has/can produce.

I hope they aren't the only young ones to be played

Welcome!! Hello!

Heskey is the equivalent of having a pile of waste up-front, just rubbish!

The only outcome i can see from getting Torres is having the medical staff be on red alert constantly, and a large amount of money given to liverpool to spend on players. If we want to have someone who will be injured for more time then he will play when we have the likes of Sturridge and Anelka, then Torres is the man.

David Beckham next?

Carvalho and Ferreira should lave, and i respect all the hard work and dedication the pair have shown, but the fact of the manner is there place in the team is not as strong as it once was. With Bruma, Hutchinson, Van Aanholt and possibly Mancienne and Cork contesting for a role in the rotation of the squad, the matter of the fact is that they are home grown players unlike Carvalho and Ferreira and they haven't gotten the age factor on their side. The right back position is one which we have excellent support with: Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Hutchinson. But i do think Ivanovic should stay in that role for the excellent work he has done last season, bring on Bosingwa in a midfeild role or as an impact sub. With the left back position we have the same scenerio, two very good players in Zhirkov and Cole with the option of Van Aanholt. IMO, Zhirkov is better in the left midfeild role then LB, and it mostly depends on whom Carlo wants in the formation in midfeild to who plays there, but he is still an option. I think the back pairing of Alex-Terry is one of the best in the league. And with Carvalho still being the club, he would most likely disturbed that partnership. With him gone, we only have Ivanovich, Bruma, Hutchinson and possibly Cork/Mancienne to rotate and i think we can do that without Carvalho. League cup, FA Cup are really the games which the youngsters should be given the chance to shine. And i think the back line should be decided to the opponents style of play. If they are a team that would suffer more likely with an all out attacking approach, then play Bosingwa or otherwise use Ivanovich. I think it is great that no matter what our back line is better then most EPL teams, and that we have options with skilled players who can play the role if needed, like Essien.

I aboslutely love this young lad, has alot of potential and talent. Hopefully he will be loaned out, or be given a role in the reserves to show his true skill.

Kaka on the Real Madrid bench???

With all these comparisons to Ozil and Kakuta/McEachran, i would to remind people of thwe quote from Buddha that is in my sig. "In 3 or 4 years" there maybe an oppertunity that comes to McEachran and Kakuta and they could do either, fail or succeed, but to judge that from NOW is surely ridicoulous. The players should be based on quality in the present time and then have an assessed value which they could improve on or possibly fall under. One example, Cherno Samba was regarded as the next big thing and now no-one knows his name. Mark Nicholls, Rhys Evans, some more names. Back on subject (on Ozil) I think he would be a great addition to the team, and gives the right indication for the future. Also, my sig also contains a picture with Sturridge with Future of Chelsea, which is based on the good quality he has shown so far in his performances in a Chelsea shirt and the fact that he looks to be a sharp individual.

Would love to see his face in a Chelsea line up! Maybe someone should send an email containing only a link to this thread to Chelsea HQ, then maybe then they will get the point that he is a well recieved player and that the number of shirts with his name on the back of a Chelsea would help gain profit. Not only will his signing increase the number of shirt sales, but he is also a very quality player who is young. He could also help Chelsea rid of the 'old pensioners' tag which seems to be added onto a Chelsea discussion in the media now-a-days. But i hope that with Aguero signing, Carlo doesn't go against his word about using Borini more next season. I think Borini has the qualities to turn into the next big thing for a striker.

Mancienne was superb against Arsenal for Wolves. I think that Bruma needs to play some games this seson in order for him to get a good percentage of progress this season, and i think that Carvalho is too old and is too injury prone to keep a regular place in the starting eleven, and with the formidable defence partnership of Alex/Terry i can't really see him getting that many minutes, and with the possibilty of Mancienne, Bruma, Hutchinson, Ivanovich & Essien to play in the center back role if Alex or Terry is injured then i am sure they could play the role for that amount of time that is required and to a standard that could win us games.
-
Good player: yes. Consitent performer: no. Chelsea first team regular: doubt it. I see Yossi as the Deco replacement, and would be mostly likely brought in to add more depth in the midfeild rotation. I think Carlo has a set plan for next season, and i am pleased that we do have a manager that has set out plans for the club and will work towards the greater good for the club. After Scolari, i think that having botha plan and a second plan is the best way forward, and using youth players and getting and gaining experience players can balance a level which is beneficial for the team and the future.
-
I honestly think that for Chelsea to actually prevail, that we/they need to start bringing our own youngsters into the first team. In order for Chelsea to reach the standard of Man Utd is to have more John Terry's into the team, instead of selling them off before they have the oppertunity for even break into the starting 11. Players like Cork and Stoch are going to find the potential at other clubs, when they could have been reaching them here but because we are stubborn to bring in anyone new into a working part of the team, instead of letting them work into another team. Bruma, Kakuta and Borini are the ones that really shine into my eyes, as well as Mancienne and Hutchinson who have waited so long to break into will get that chance with Carlo then under whoever.
-
One of the few players i would like to see in a Chelsea shirt. Ozil, Neymar, Aguero.
-
Bruma, Matic, Kakuta, Borini, McEarchan, Van Aanholt, Clifford, Tore and Walker. Cork and Mancienne as well, ambitious but hopeful.
-
would love to see this happen. The fact that Chelsea would be the shirt he would be playing for in the future is the best part for me.
-
would love to see him at SB next season, was so good in the Eng vs Germ game. What an immense midfeild we would have next season if he did come.
-
Sell him, and put Bruma is a more important role.
