Dissapointed to see RLC being subbed, should've been ramires instead. Meh.
-
Don't think its anything to do with him being Belgian. It's more to do with young players getting too much fame and money without barely kicking a ball in first team football.
-
It's very frustrating since I missed our last two games and it feels like forever since I watched Chelsea because of the national team break aswell. Can't blame them for not broadcasting us though, seing how crap we've been lately lol.
-
Any good streams for this one? Quite understandably the Everton - Utd game being broadcasted over here instead.
-
Interesting lineup. Pretty funny how everyone and their dog were certain Baba was not going to start. Hazard being benched is a suprise, I think this could've been a good game for him to get things going again. As mentioned before I hope it will be a midfield 3 with Fabregas playing a deep playmaker role, but wouldn't be suprised if he'll be nr 10 though.

At the moment, pretty much.

Azpilicueta is one of four players he has at his disposal to replace the injured Branislav Ivanovic at right-back, which could mean an opening on the other side of the defence for Baba Rahman. The Ghanaian has made two appearances for the Blues since joining from Augsburg in August, though he is yet to make his Premier League bow. As Mourinho considers whether that could change when we take on Aston Villa today, he draws comparisons with a former player of his who also moved to Stamford Bridge having spent his whole career abroad. I go back to one of the best defenders the Premier League has ever had, Ricardo Carvalho, begins the manager. He was in big trouble for three, four, five months. He said he couldnt adapt to the change from the Portuguese League and the Champions League to the Premier League: the way attacking players were playing, the way he had to adapt and learn how to use his position and his body. He was a super player but it was hard for him for three or four months. Its a problem of experience and being adapted to the Premier League. Its depends on the characteristics of the player. Baba is really good with the ball, hes very fast, but hes learning how we play and how we defend. The fact he came to us in the last days of the market took from him the possibility to work in pre-season, but hes a good player for sure and we trust him. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/10/mourinho--characteristics-and-consequences.html?extcmp=SOCIA_TW_ENG_NEWS_PREMATCH

Liverpools starting eleven seems very uninspiring not to mention their bench, all strikers except Origi out injured. Spurs really should win this one.
-
^They usually have a PC only for newspapers after the broadcasted one. I think he was asked if he thinks the club would keep him even if we finnished mid table, which is silly (because we obviously wont, right? ).
-
Yes, he didn't mention Babas name, but when he talked about Azpi as right back I think that implies Baba playing as left back. But hey, we'll see tomorow I guess.
-
But he never said Aina was ahead of Baba though. He said he had 4 options at RB now that Iva is injured: Azpi (which means Baba as lb), Zouma, Ramires and Ola Aina. Altough, I wouldn't be suprised if we see Zouma as RB tomorrow, but there's no way Aina will be starting.

Exactly, especially if you are a young unproven (at senior level) player looking to make the step up.How hard is it to just stay quite and respect the club you're at?
-
Can you post the source where the quote is from? Very stupid comments if true, if that really is his attitude towards the club I can see why he isn't getting game time.
-
"The grass is always greener" you know ...
-
Very good manager, I don't think he will do miracles at Liverpool tho, can't see any current top 4 team dropping out longterm. Great to have him in the PL though!
-
Hopefully Kenedy gets a start in this one. He's one of the few players who actually looks like caring.
-
Great to see the club backing the manager in times like these. If we finally want to keep a top manager around for the long run and not be seen as the club with the revolving door philosophy as we have before, we should'nt pull the trigger so soon after he guided us to a long awaited PL title even if we do look like a mess atm. But I really hope he uses this break to work on some fresh ideas, maybe try some new formations/tactics. Something really needs to happen, but sacking José at this very moment is not the best solution in my opinion.
-
^ Pretty sure they have someone already lined up then, probably Klopp.
-
Newcastle in the lead! Will obviously screw it up . That youngster they currently have at LB seems promising.
-
Can this non-story finally end now?
-
Arsenal commiting with so many players in attack makes them very vulnerable in counter attack, Leicester with their speedy forwards are perfect to exploit that!
-
Haha, Vardy is quality!
-
Sorry, my bad. Meant 5 points behind city, as I don't think United will be too involved in the title race come may.
-
Well done Spurs! City won't walk the league as some people here has been suggesting. Now we just need a win today and we'll be only 5 points behind them, which is nothing with 31 games left to play.
-
Solid performance! Kenedy and Loftus-Cheek are both looking very promising, Ramires was very good aswell.
