I agree, the only problem is that most other leagues start a week or so later than the PL. Need all leagues to start at the same date with the window closing the same day for it to be completely fair. But I doubt that will ever happen. I for once agree with Wenger that the january window should be scrapped as well while we're at it.

I'd guess Mahrez is going to Arsenal to replace Sanchez, which would be a decent deal for them. It wouldn't really make sense if we'd be after him.

Ofcourse he's not, but look at it from leicesters point of view. They dont want to sell one of their regular starters who is on a longterm contract, and they would have to find a replacement within 3 weeks. Not to mention they would probably be forced to pay a hefty sum for whoever they replace him with.
